Royco
Royco@roycoprotocol·
Royco partners with Hypernative for real-time monitoring. @HypernativeLabs provides continuous on-chain monitoring with automated threat detection across every transaction and contract interaction. The platform protects over $100 billion in digital assets across 75+ chains, has detected 99.5% of all hacks with a false positive rate below 0.001%, and has saved more than $3 billion in customer funds. Royco Dawn's monitoring integrates directly with the protocol's emergency response plan. If anything abnormal is detected, the system is built to act, not just alert. Coupled with a minimum settlement delay of 24 hours for all user and admin operations, Hypernative’s continuous monitoring will allow Royco to preemptively stop any exploit before it is executed. Audits verify code at deployment. Hypernative monitors what's happening right now. To the Hypernative team: thank you. Your real-time layer is a core part of what makes Royco Dawn something users can trust not just at launch, but every day after.

🚀We've partnered with @trmlabs The result → a two-layer system: Hypernative as the control plane, TRM's risk intelligence as the embedded compliance data source. Every transaction is evaluated and enforced before it executes. ✅ 75+ chains. 80+ risk categories. Automated approve/flag/block. No manual review required. The gap between detection and enforcement is closed. Read more → trmlabs.com/resources/blog…

.@AccountableData's Vault-as-a-Service is the infrastructure vault managers use to launch and operate onchain offerings. Accountable sits in between vault managers and depositors, ensuring every asset is verifiably accounted for, without ever taking custody or control. That position demands something audits can't provide: a live defense layer that detects threats in real time, responds without human delay, and scales as new vaults come online. Read how Accountable built that layer with Hypernative. buff.ly/BI59a6U

Fully agree. I’ve lost count of the number of protocols I’ve referred to @HypernativeLabs that hesitate over marginal costs (starts at US$30K p.a. iirc). In reality, having a trusted partner that can pause your contracts in a single signature during an exploit is a small price to pay for true business continuity.
YAM 🌱@yieldsandmore

It took @ResolvLabs 3h to pause their protocol. Roughly one hour of that delay came from the gap between submitting the multisig transaction and collecting the 4 required signatures to execute it. We should learn from this. Emergency pausing should only require a SINGLE signature, with that authority distributed across as many of your team members as possible. Including trusted external operators (like us) also makes sense. You'll get more eyes on any abnormalities onchain, a higher likelihood of a quick pause, and a better coverage of timezones. Teams should also have reliable communication channels to be coordinate instantly during incidents like this. Pagers, phones, whatever works. Tools like @HypernativeLabs, @hexagate_ and others offer proactive monitoring that can pause the protocol for you, and could one day save you.

Millions were extracted from onchain ecosystem participants because of a single privileged minting key. The reason we haven’t just thrown up a vault to attract deposits is because we take risk management seriously. We independently underwrite protocol and smart contract risk and work with best-in-class partners where we want to leverage expertise. This is why we partnered with @HypernativeLabs for real-time threat detection from day one. Why our vault architecture will enforce collateral and depositor controls at the smart contract level. Institutional grade means the security stack is built before the first dollar of TVL, not after the postmortem. OpSec controls like key signing, key rotation, real-time monitoring, and qualified custody. These aren’t features. They’re table stakes @birchhill_io

Last night's Resolv exploit was a particularly unique experience because I was at an offsite with the core @mezzanine_fi team, so we monitored the situation in real time from the first few minutes (notified via @HypernativeLabs). First off, hat tip to @SaulCapital and @yieldsandmore for being some of the first to see and notify communities about the exploit. As a result, within minutes, discords and telegram chats were able to start de-risking. It was impressive to see @infiniFi able to rapidly analyze and eliminate all exposure with zero loss. They also mention @pagerduty as playing a critical role in waking-up / notifying all necessary team members near-immediately to jump into action. @SteakhouseFi likewise was very quick to reduce all exposure and the first curator as far as I know to post about their reduced exposure. @reservoir_xyz also was fast to analyze their steakhouse exposure and give updates to everyone. There were various arbitrage opportunities analyzed in real time, both in YAM and in the DeFi Dojo. I was proud and encouraged to see no one in the Dojo promoting the malicious borrow strategy on Fluid. Rather they were focused on the more ethical peg-arbitrage plays for DOLA and GHO, as well as helpful in analyzing all second order risks for quick community action. Services like Hypernative and PagerDuty were clearly essential in catching depegs and suspicious mints in real time, and I highly recommend that all protocols and avid-risk-analysts be using something like Hypernative as part of their core toolkit. It was devastating to see the impact on @0xfluid, which is a protocol that I love with a team that I also like, even if they can occasionally get spicy on twitter. That said, they look like they have a path forward and I'm certainly cheering them on from the sidelines. I'm also hopeful that @ResolvLabs has a path forward here, as technically the assets underlying Resolv assets were untouched, it was primarily the LPs and lending markets that took the hit.

If your auditor is finding basic bugs, you’re wasting your audit. Before sending code for review, every DeFi team should be using: • Static analysis tools • Fuzzing & automated testing • Secure, battle-tested libraries • Adversarial testnet environments Audits don’t clean up code. They validate it. Here’s the full pre-audit security stack ↓ buff.ly/l1GT5jp

An early alert can change the outcome of an exploit. On March 5, Hypernative detected an exploit targeting Solv Protocol on Ethereum and immediately notified the team. Solv is not a Hypernative customer, but the alert gave the protocol time to respond and secure contracts that still held approximately $10M in funds. Many attacks unfold across multiple transactions. That creates a window where detection and response can still make a difference. More on what happened → buff.ly/0YfJyJg

Building a protocol means building a security model that evolves over time. The lifecycle typically looks like this: 1️⃣ Development Audits, formal verification, secure key architecture 2️⃣Deployment Gradual rollout, circuit breakers, bug bounties 3️⃣Operations Continuous monitoring, transaction inspection, governance controls We break down the security playbook teams should follow at each stage. buff.ly/66XO7Pn
