@eilatg Very cool. If you'd be interested in showing datasets from related disciplines I'd be happy to help supply paleoclimate data that reflect changes in orbital insolation with complex non-linearities, threshold responses, and leads/lags.

Physics/astro profs: I am teaching a "Waves and Fourier Analysis" course in the fall. It is a 200 level (undergrad/sophomore) course and is pretty new to our curriculum. So, I am soliciting book recommendations. Drop your favorites in the replies!
