@PattyMurray Yes except let’s make *standard time* permanent because time of day is based on the sun. Noon should be within ~30 minutes of the sun crossing the meridian.

PSA for all the students out there working on NSF GSRF proposals: the NSF explicitly says "DO NOT USE GoogleDocs to prepare your statement to avoid PDF problems".

Twenty something kid watched the VP debate and remarks "it seemed normal. I got kind of bored." Whether a good or bad take, I realized the kid's entire political consciousness has been the crazy and bored was a new feeling.

Fuck you @Walgreens. I had a Covid vaccine appointment for over a month. Every day you sent me a reminder text and email (including today). Only for me to show up on time to a closed pharmacy. No explanation. Shrug from the employees. You suck.

@eilatg @Walgreens Similar happened to me at @cvspharmacy - showed up early to my long standing appointment to have the pharmacist cheerfully tell me they just gave the last dose to a walk-in. I never went back, I use my GP now.
