Today we had so much fun with our “stop and jots” while reading about the Pilgrims and Wampanoag tribe with our CKLA unit @Amplify @TN_Literacy. We stopped to take notes, and then the students used those notes to create their own sentence. This is my why!#wearecves #wearercstn

After reviewing that all sentences need a WHO & DO, we discussed making them more complex with a WHAT. We’ve been working with who & do for several months. It took us this long to be writing independently in K. Lots of scaffolding prior to this. 2/3 @SoRclassroom

We’ve been learning about 🪴 in Reading. We ❤️writing about our new learning! ➡️ We tackled that 3 syllable word “pollinate “by breaking it into syllables and spelling, each part. ➡️Ss spelled each part independently this way! ➡️Ss attempted “butterfly” indep. @SoRclassroom
