We stopped him getting opportunities because we prioritise people who want to be here. He will be no loss

Really not sure what Ally doesn’t get. It’s a perfect time. Highest value, Spence best in left where we have Udogie, Robertson, and VDV if needed. He’s not great on the right and Porro starts. The boy wants to play. What am I missing? Sell players at the right time. Now

@SebOnFootball I would say it's more because we gave bentancur a contract extension which I still think was wrong. He plays well a few games and goes missing the others. Bergvall would be better competition for players with Tonali, Fernandes and gray...but I don't think he wanted competition

Why are people saying Bergvall is leaving cause we signed Gallagher, I don’t think that’s true at all? Bentancur/Gray/Tonali/Fernandes are his competition? Gallagher I think will be used as a more advanced midfielder competing with Madders and then Xavi when he’s back

@InvertTheWing I have thought more about this, I think we should sell udogie and keep Spence! He can attack and defend better than Udogie most of the time! I just don't understand why he wants Udogie and not him

ENIC getting an easy ride after signing Tonali/Fernandes. Why haven’t we signed the winger & striker yet for De Zerbi? He’s with the squad this week & we aren’t close to signing the 2 or 3 new starting Xl attackers. Inexcusable tbh.

@Kish_P14 I don't know why people believe everything they see. Gray will not be sold, and he has publicly said he loves him and wants him to stay and he thinks he will be Tottenham captain. But Tel quite honestly let's face it has done nothing to warrant staying at this club

From what I understand he just doesn’t love developing young players This is where the club must have some sort of backbone to not strip us of our future

@GaryRWard I think the way de Zerbi likes his full backs to play...bringing players out of position, pushing forward. Spence doesn't do that, he has shown for England he can be lazy. Defensively he is very good but going forward sometimes is good other times lazy. Neco Williams makes sense

I don't quite understand the enquiry for Neco Williams, and that's not because I don't think he is a decent player, just from a squad-building point of view. We already have Djed Spence and Pedro Porro there, so a third doesn't make sense unless, - Djed links to Everton or elsewhere are very serious, and Neco is a replacement, or, - Djed is being pushed more advanced next season, as we've seen a few times. With the recruitment focus remaining on the left winger. He has also played a fair amount at left-back, which makes the signing even more questionable, given that we have Robertson, Davies, Souza, Udogie, and even Van de Ven able to cover now that we have more centre-back options. Souza needs a loan, and I'd be surprised if we were to let Udogie leave too. The signing doesn't make much sense unless there are serious questions about either Spence or Udogie. #THFC #SPURS #COYS #TOTTENHAM

@InvertTheWing Because tactically he doesn't fit a de Zerbi team. Neco Williams would...the way he likes he full backs to play doesn't work. And it's not like Spence has ever been a first team player he has always been in when someone has been injured

Tottenham selling Djed Spence just as he begins proving himself on the biggest stage would be a very Tottenham thing to do. Really, really don't understand it. Covers both sides, homegrown, different profile to what already exists.

@LikeAnsi The Ange team with everyone fit is good. But this team had the best defence in the league. I would maybe have bentancur over wanyama...and son of the Europa league side was better than this son as at this point Alli and eriksen provided most of kanes goals. So that would be it
