@TukiFromKL Why aren't we holding people who initiated and ran these investigations PERSONALLY responsible? Holding people accountable is the only way to fix this.

🚨do you understand what just happened.. Trump sued his own IRS for $10 billion over leaked tax returns.. then settled with his own DOJ.. and the settlement created a $1.776 billion taxpayer-funded fund to compensate his political allies the president filed the lawsuit.. the president's DOJ settled it.. the president's allies collect the money.. and you're paying for it the fund covers Jan 6th defendants.. Mar-a-Lago raid claims.. the Russia investigation.. anyone who says they were a victim of "lawfare" can file a claim and get a check they named it the "Anti-Weaponization Fund".. and made the number $1.776 billion.. they even made the corruption patriotic in 1974 Nixon resigned for using government agencies against political enemies.. in 2026 the government is cutting checks to political allies and calling it justice

@johnkonrad Congress may not write any law exempting them from legislation they pass, nor may they write any law that gives them special privileges. Congressional pay will be initially set by a nonpartisan commission and then will increase at the rate the GDP grows or falls.

Even if you had worked every single day, earning $5,000 a day, from the time Magellan set sail around the globe until now, you still wouldn't be a billionaire. You'd still have less money than Jeff Bezos can make in a week. No one works their way to a billion dollars.

@907Honest The legislators are too comfortable in Juneau, the distance and location buffers them from their constituents. They also pull a huge per diem meeting there instead of somewhere on the road system. I'm all for moving them to somewhere on the road system.

The argument that Juneau is historically significant doesn't really matter much when we are discussing the State capitol. The State Capitol being in Anchorage / Willow would allow large expansions etc that can never happen in Juneau. The second argument for keeping the capitol in Juneau is the economic hurt that it would do to Juneau. I think 1.5 million people go to Juneau every year from the cruise ships, if anything this would allow expansion of that and they would probably make more money. Finally the last argument for not moving the Alaska Capitol that is in Juneau (Take a moment and look at a map or google "Molokai" could you imagine the State Capitol in Hawaii being on Molokai? that is the equivalent to the Alaska Capitol being in Juneau) The final argument is that is would cost too much, and to that I say "Too damn bad" Let's figure out a way to do this.

@SadPatriot @SGTWipper1Each I had a pizza delivered my first night in the BOQ at Polk. I didn't finish it and closed up the box on the kitchen table expecting to have pizza for breakfast. When I opened the box the next morning it was teeming with cockroaches! Everything in the fridge after that.

There is a thing called rabbit starvation. The French-Canadian trappers called it mal de caribou. The Hudson Bay Company kept records of men dying of it while their bellies were technically full. Here is how it works. A man is stuck in the bush in late winter. The only game he can find is rabbit, or caribou at the end of the migration after they've burned off their summer fat. The lean meat is there. The fat is gone. He eats. He cannot stop eating. He grows lethargic. He gets watery diarrhoea within a week. He keeps eating. He keeps weakening. Within two or three weeks, in the cold, doing hard work, he is dead. Of starvation. With meat in his stomach. The liver can only process protein up to around thirty-five per cent of total calories. Past that, the body has no way to clear the nitrogen waste, and starts dismantling its own tissues to try and balance the books. The Cree and the Dene hunters knew this in their bones. They would field-dress a lean rabbit and throw the muscle meat to the dogs, keeping only the small kidney fat to mix with stored fat from richer kills. European observers were baffled by what looked like waste. The hunters were baffled by Europeans being baffled. Pemmican was designed around this knowledge. Equal parts lean meat and rendered fat, by weight. Half tallow. Not a quarter. Not a tenth. Half. If you're going to follow the ancestral pattern, follow it properly. Eat the ribeye over the round. The shoulder over the loin. The marrow, the suet, the rendered tallow, the broth that solidifies on the windowsill. Lean meat alone built no civilisations. Fatty meat built every single one of them.

@UntoldWarFacts I would argue that a plane with bazookas strapped to its wing isn’t “unarmed”.

Yes, what you are seeing here is a tiny unarmed observation plane with six bazookas strapped to its wings. The pilot was a 32 year old history teacher from Illinois. He destroyed at least six German tanks. This is the story of Bazooka Charlie..🧵1/5

Every attorney has a line they never expected to say out loud. Mine was: "Your Honor, the OnlyFans account is actually a marital asset." The husband wanted half. The wife insisted it was "personal expression" and therefore off-limits. She also insisted it barely made any money. We requested the 1099s. It was making more than my entire firm. Opposing counsel looked at the income figures and visibly reconsidered his hourly rate. We hired a valuation expert who, with an entirely straight face, explained subscriber churn, projected brand growth, and the economic value of her "top 0.3%" badge. The judge asked if we could use a different term than "Thirst Empire" in the record. We could not. The husband wanted an ongoing cut of future revenue. The wife said she'd rather delete the account. Our expert confirmed that nuking it would destroy a 8-figure asset. The courtroom went quiet while everyone processed that sentence. We settled: she kept the account, bought him out with a lump-sum payment, and signed a clause promising never to use his likeness or name in any content. As we left, he asked if he could at least get a free subscription. No. He has to pay.

You won’t hear this on Fox News: California just released a balanced budget that wipes out the deficit this year AND next — while protecting health care and safety nets. Meanwhile, Trump ADDED $2.4 TRILLION to the federal deficit with his “Big Beautiful Betrayal.” Republicans ruin budgets. Democrats balance them. Adulting matters.

🧵I feel like triggering Pentagon bureaucrats and partisan ideologues masquerading as neutral actors today. Everyone gives @PeteHegseth a hard time for his “mass purge” of a whopping 2% of senior officers. They screech, asking why?! On what grounds?! They shouldn’t panic, but they do. No. This is what will make them panic in the halls of government. Just like they did in 1940. A system that can be stood up at this exact moment to delineate between who stays and who goes. Who rises and who falls.👇

@KeenanPeachy Your wants for your community are the same as the wants of Conservatives. We just see different pathways to that end. So far the liberal ideas on how to get there have only made the situation worse and hopefully others in your sphere will join you in real change.

I am a blue state bleeding heart liberal. I believe homeless people who desperately need help should not be left alone in tents to die. I believe animals should not be abused, tortured, and neglected in drug camps. I believe mothers and their children should be able to go to a local playground and feel safe. I believe poor people who don't have cars should be able to enjoy safe public transportation without fear for their lives. I believe neighbors should enjoy peace, quiet, and friendly get togethers and not have to hide in their own homes away from violent street people. That is why I want @spencerpratt to be mayor of Los Angeles. These cruel fascists who neglect our poorest and most vulnerable must be stopped. Karen Bass's reign of terror must end!

@907Honest I once came across a large Larry the Cable Guy clone on a buried 4 wheeler and his 95 pound wife was trying to push him out. He said they had been stuck for over an hour. He wanted me to push him out and I agreed but only if his wife drove. We had it unstuck in 5 minutes.
