As always, that felt a very long way home. Not the best of games from Michael Bennie or Darel Vale. Three scrappy goals conceded shows how much we miss Johnny Dunne - and Simon Cook, for that matter. Thought Phil Smyth made a difference when he came on, though.

The things we do for the love of QPR... 4.25am. Pitch dark still. About to set off cross-country to Ipswich, just one of a magnificent 1700+ heading to someone else's party! All being well, I shall be outside the away end (side) with these. Travel safely, fellow Rangers...

As some of you will be aware, I represent the Fan Media seat on the QPR Supporters Advisory Board. Obviously things have been slow to get off the ground to date, but we are pleased x.com/QPRSAB is now up and running. Any and all follows will be most welcomed.

@singapore_dave @bwoodbridge33 I want QPR to win regardless of what it means to other clubs, simply because I always want QPR to win. I also expect any QPR team to respect the integrity of the game and the division, and play to win. I'm not convinced we will, for reasons already stated, but we must try!

@akutrs @bwoodbridge33 Agree Dave. Teams needing to win usually do. Boro have by far the hardest task because they are away and their opponents probably need a win aswell. Ipswich and Millwall are likely to both win but I suppose you never know.

Quite amusing that after such a considerably poor season, we are going to have a say in 3 other sides' destiny. Chances are we get dicked but if there's one side that you just never know what to expect from, it's us. For the record, I wouldn't mind Millwall going up #QPR

@nrogers959 @LoftforWords Hi Niall, yes it was. That will be recorded in the official minutes, which the SAB received for approval just today. More on what that entailed will be discussed when our lines of communications are fully in place.

I feel sure that naming the SOTY trophy after Alan will happen, Chris - and it couldn't be more richly deserved when it does. Lots and lots of brilliant supporters at our club, but none will probably ever surpass the sheer dedication of Alan.

Take my hat off in total respect to ALL those runners who ran the 2026 London Marathon today🏃🏽‍♀️ We went along to support our niece @MelissaCroucher… saw her at the 25 mile mark on Victoria Embankment. Her finishing time was 7hrs 13 miins, couldn’t be more proud of her.!

@Memranger @W_QPR1882 You too, Mehmet. Think you are right, Derby didn't create much, but it's all about finishing in the end!

@akutrs @W_QPR1882 Nice to see you yesterday Dave. I do question what defensive work we do in training (is Bould even at the club still?). Derby had 3 shots and scored from all 3. We look so frail at the back. No leadership, no one prepared to fight for loose balls or 50/50 challenges. Frustrating

That was a strong performance to end the season, and great to watch... ...until suddenly it wasn't. From cruising one minute to looking shocked and bewildered the next. We really do keep finding new and imaginative ways to lose home games.
