@atflorio Maybe Doonan just made two contradictory statements. "Any and All" in the first Same reason in WEC why would BMW, Cadillac, Porsche, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Toyota want to lose to a company that sells no cars? I'm sure they'd rather have more competition at this point than none

I don't see how they get around the 2500 cars per year mandate for IMSA. If they stretch the rules for them, Glickenhaus should have an open door as well. 🤷

@atflorio The current regulations of LMDh and LMH is what he's referring to. Requiring 2500 manufactured cars is not a 'regulation'

@AKissinger8 “The current regulations are still in effect until 2029, so we would continue to welcome any of the current LMH competitors in IMSA competition,” I think the word "current" is important to note. I'm not rooting against High Class Racing. I just don't think IMSA changes it

@atflorio @OffInTheEsses There's a quote in the article from Doonan 'Doonan said they’re “prepared to accept any and all comers” to GTP.'' Maybe due to car count they are looking at reconsidering the entry requirement for the time being...

@OffInTheEsses IMSA is down 2 prototypes next year. It's not like the dying days of LMP1. People are counting Genesis like a loss. They were never here. Hopefully 2028 something comes online for them. Same for Ford & McLaren.
