"After I graduating high school in 1994, I enrolled at Gwinnett Technical College to obtain my EMT certification. I began full-time employment with Barrow County Fire Department in 1997 and went on to earn my Paramedic certification in 1998. I was promoted to Lieutenant in 2004 and to Battalion Chief in 2012, a position I continue to hold today. In this role, I manage day-to-day operations for my shift and supervise 23 personnel. I also serve as the Incident Commander on emergency scenes. I have continued to pursue professional development throughout my career, earning associate degrees in both Fire Science Technology and Emergency Management from Lanier Technical College.
In 1998, I was invited to work a race event at Road Atlanta. I began by riding on a medical unit, and soon after was assigned to a rescue truck. I quickly developed a love for the high-speed nature of on-track incident mitigation. Over the past 27
years, I’ve dedicated myself to learning more about motorsports vehicles and developing faster, safer techniques for returning the track to green flag conditions. This path also led me to pursue and be selected for a position on the committee for NFPA 610, Safety at Motorsports Venues and have articles about motorsports safety published in Fire Engineering Magazine.
I currently serve as a Battalion Chief with Barrow County Fire Department, where I’ve held the position for the past 13 years. I act as Incident Commander for a wide range of emergencies, including several high-profile incidents. Additionally, I continue to work part-time at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta as a crew chief on the rescue truck, supporting various motorsports events throughout the year."

I'm incredibly proud to share the news that I will be part of Porsche Penske Motorsport's full season lineup in 2027! Ever since I joined the team at the end of last year, I knew where I wanted to end up competing for the biggest victories in sportscar racing. To work with such a talented and dedicated group of people has not only made me a stronger driver, but also a more complete person - and I can't wait for more of that!
I want to thank Porsche for bringing me up their ladder since my very early days as well as Team Penske, Roger and everyone involved for their trust. This one means a lot. #Porsche#RACEBORN#TeamPenske#IMSA@PorscheRaces
