Happy to share my conversation with @ssahney on @InvestNStartups. We talked about: 🔁 Network effects and why Sonia loves marketplaces 🅱️2️⃣🅱️ Why @SNAKVC prefers B2B to B2C 🦾 What AI does NOT change about marketplaces 🌱 What surprised Sonia about launching a new firm

Just got an invite to the Chicago Venture Summit and it's marketed this year around "Future of Food"? Chicago ecosystem is SO much more diverse than food, though. I'm sure World Business Chicago has their reasons.

@hthill Given inflation today, when Tom actually retires (in 2030?) this deal will look much more reasonable :)

Kudos to Tom, but I don’t get everyone universally celebrating this on Fox’s behalf. They paid double the top of the market for an unproven announcer. It doesn’t always work out (see plenty of recent examples that I won’t call out by name).
Front Office Sports@FOS

Tom Brady's broadcasting deal with Fox Sports is for 10 years and $375 million, per @nypost. It's the largest contract in sportscasting history — DOUBLING Tony Romo and Troy Aikman's annual average.
