The next era of Alchemy has arrived. Alchemix v3 caps are raised, and Transmuters are open. After years of building on what we learned from v2, today we open up 90% LTV vaults, new Mix-Yield Tokens, and the Fixed-Duration Transmuter. The future we envisioned, starts here. 🧵

Bridging update: Our old alUSD/alETH bridges on @Optimism and @arbitrum have been retired and replaced with new bridges compatible with the v3 alchemist. We've also updated our DVN (cross-chain transaction verification) configuration for the new provider, Deutsche Telekom. We continue to require 2-of-3 confirmations for all cross-chain transactions with further limitations set by xERC20, keeping the same security standard.

Extending transmutation times lets us absorb more liquidity while offering competitive APRs. More liquidity enables more loans, which opens up more Transmuter capacity, and eventually allows us to bring transmutation times back down. 🔗 alchemix.fi/fixed-yield

After this period, we will re-evaluate Transmuter caps and durations to ensure it always makes sense to transmute now rather than wait.

Transmuter Update. We are raising Transmuter caps, starting with 115 alETH and 100k alUSD today, followed by further raises every 2 days over the next two weeks. We have also extended transmutation times. 🧵

v3 so far is off to a good start. For the first time in over a year, @AlchemixFi is growing in TVL and borrowing, and we are seeing the dynamic between debt expansion and the fixed-duration transmuter redemption module playing out just as we had modeled. I don't expect things to rocket up in an instant (as our modeling didn't indicate they would) but it is so satisfying to see it play out like we thought it would. Due to the duration mismatches for CDP and redemptions, we can expect a constant grind upwards in TVL and debt as the system churns. If things continue like they are now, I wouldn't be surprised to see a net growth of 3-5% month over month indefinitely. It may take some time for the pegs to stabilize at our target of 0.99+, so alUSD and alETH are more-so 'bonds' right now and less-so stable-synths, but when (not if) we hit our targets, Alchemix will be the premier destination for looping yields and maximizing the effectiveness of your savings.
