Nobody from Democratic leadership has had the decency to apologize and say ‘We failed the American people’. Not through the policies enacted, but through our hubris, self preservation and need for a continued seat on the gravy train. A half a billion dollar campaign based on abortion rights and ‘The other guy is a fascist’ is frankly an embarrassment. Much more than that, it’s an insult to the memory of MLK and John Lewis who put people before party. Even now after being taken to the cleaners by a convicted criminal, the Democratic leadership wants more of the same old same old, so they can continue insider stock trading. This is a do or die moment.
