@lucas_legacy @DanGuy96 I couldn't have said it better, can't count how many times I read a Marvel comic that started out decent and by the end of the comic it's fizzled out because they jam packed the story so much into one lack of nut bust. Case and point THANOS where he becomes king and wants to die.

@ALemonad @DanGuy96 Marvel is all about feelings over logic. They flip the script on anything purely to get a reaction out you, DC finds that fine balance between feelings & logic, where they try to explore various concepts and mythologies with this balance that’s just more engaging.

Hot Take Time: DC’s Multiverse is more realized and interesting than Marvel’s multiverse. But Marvel’s Cosmic side is more interesting and fleshed-out than DC’s Cosmic side.

@lucas_legacy @DanGuy96 I've been saying something similar except mine is hotter, Marvel is for people who are too stupid to understand and appreciate DC properly.... DC overall just has better written stories and I've read multiple from both companies. Identity Crisis was one of the best comics I saw.

@DanGuy96 Marvel's cosmic character cast actually has beings who legitimately feel like extradimensional entities beyond Human understanding, DC's cosmic characters essentially boil down to Guy A can blow up 10 galaxies at once while Guy B can blow up 20 at once.

Their decision ultimately comes from a deep respect for the author’s singular voice. The editor shared: “Realistically speaking, there is nobody in the world who could inherit Daisuke Satō’s vision… he was the one and only. I’d like overseas fans to understand that nobody else could write it easily.” The illustrator echoed this sentiment, admitting it “pains his heart” to leave the work unfinished, but continuing without Daisuke Satō would feel wrong.
