@end3of6days9 That could be done at home on your own driveway with a bucket of soapy water, a scrubbing brush and high pressure sprayer….on a hot sunny day for drying. I would set it on either raised bricks or a raised wooden frame to dry. Good idea though.

This woman had the brilliant idea to haul her dirty living room area rug straight to the self-serve car wash for just $5 — soap, high-pressure spray, and all!
She goes after a stubborn blackberry stain and shows the nasty water that pours out when she’s done.
This is such a smart hack, especially if you don’t own a carpet shampooer at home. It looks like a second round of scrubbing might have helped even more, but I’m sure it already looks so much better than it did before!
Sometimes the simplest, most unexpected solutions are the ones that actually get the job done.
Have you ever tried a wild DIY cleaning hack like this, or do you have your own go-to trick for tackling carpet stains?

@Mr_Husky1 I admired her work in film and with animal ls but I can’t help but think a Covid vaccine or vaccines played a role in her stroke and demise. I’m only speculating that she got the vax but most older people did.

"On the morning of December 31, 2021, Betty White was awake by 6:30 a.m. in her longtime Brentwood home in Los Angeles.
It was a quiet Friday. By 8 a.m., her housekeeper arrived, bringing in the newspaper and preparing her usual breakfast—toast, sliced cantaloupe, and a small cup of coffee.
Betty kept her routines precise. Even at 99, she cherished early mornings, filling the silence with scripts or crossword puzzles while the neighborhood still slept.
Her assistant, Kiersten Mikelas, came later to sort through correspondence and fan mail. The day before, Betty had reviewed a tribute video for her 100th birthday, only 17 days away.
She laughed, scribbled notes, and asked about the turnout for a virtual celebration tied to “Betty White: 100 Years Young.”
That morning, nothing felt unusual. She even joked with Kiersten about New Year’s Eve.
“Tell the world I’m not partying this year,” she said, “but I’ll expect fireworks anyway.”
By noon, she withdrew to her favorite place—the sunlit living room. It was filled with photos of Allen Ludden, her beloved pets, and decades of framed tributes.
Large windows opened to the backyard where her golden retrievers once ran.
She had outlived most of her friends. Though she had no children, Allen’s three kids remained close, especially her stepdaughter Sarah.
That morning, she spoke with her manager, Jeff Witjas, sounding calm and reflective.
“She said she felt good,” he later recalled, “and proud of her life.”
Then she added softly, “I think Allen’s going to be happy to see me soon.”
Her final screen work had been years earlier, lending her voice to “Forky Asks a Question.” She had also narrated a wildlife documentary in 2020.
Though she slowed during the pandemic, her mind stayed sharp. She still wrote to fans by hand, always with humor.
By 12:30 p.m., Betty rested in her recliner.
When her housekeeper checked in around 1 p.m., she appeared asleep. But by 1:30, something had changed.
Betty had passed peacefully, the television tuned to “Jeopardy!” and a crossword folded neatly beside her.
Paramedics confirmed it later that afternoon. The cause—a stroke she had experienced days earlier, kept private.
She had declined hospitalization, choosing instead the comfort of home.
Days before, she recorded a message for her birthday tribute. Looking into the camera, she smiled.
“I’ve loved every single minute you’ve given me. Keep smiling, and keep being kind.”
She had lived for decades in that same house, never wanting to leave the memories behind. Animals still filled her world—rescues, birds, even raccoons she quietly named.
Years later, those closest to her remember the same thing: her curiosity, her warmth, her lightness.
And in the end, there were no crowds—only sunlight through the windows, a quiet breeze from the garden, and a life that gently came to rest exactly where it had always belonged.

@PastorPhil2 @NobleNegroe Give proof of your comment…how has the administration targeted jobs related to the black community…when, where? Or, did you hear it on mainstream media and parrot its propaganda?
English

@NobleNegroe Since this administration has been in office, it has been targeting jobs related to the black community using the same script that you’re trying to use right now. And I’ve seen personally people lose their jobs that are totally qualified. And this is where this nation is going.

This latest Supreme Court ruling reflects EXACTLY what Dr. King fought and died for.
King didn’t want us racially segregated by Congressional district. He wanted us to vote based on character, record, and merit - not by race.
Dr. King would be proud this Supreme Court has diversified our districts to reflect America. #MLK #SCOTUS #UNITY

English

@RRussellKing @NobleNegroe Answer Rev Damian’s question. It’s a simple “yes” or “no.” Did Dr. King want a racially divided country?
English

@NobleNegroe Ok. I've given you enough engagement so your view velocity should be good now. ✌🏾

Dilemma. What do I do with these embroidered pillowcases ? They were given to my mom at her wedding. They were embroidered by her grandma, my great great grandma. My mom never used them because /she “couldn’t ever replace them” after her grandma passed. She kept them in the linen closet in the house I grew up in. She gave them to me when I got married and yes, I’ve also kept them unused in my linen closet for 20 years. I don’t want to get rid of them (I won’t). Do I use them or keep them safely store me for future generations to not use, either?

With the White House Correspondents Association declaring Donald Trump an “honoree” at tonight’s dinner, I declined an organization’s invitation to attend. The sane washing of Trump and his war on the press is dangerous. And the WHCA is an absolute disgrace. #WHCD

@matthew_west You’re human. Just because you are well-known doesn’t mean you can’t have a bad day and respond less than perfect. All believers should seek to have a Christlike attitude but we aren’t always on our best behavior. Not rationalizing…just being honest.

Reminds me of years ago, kids were little, airline tried to separate me from my daughters & sit with strangers. (I was less cool in that moment.) moments later, I hear people behind me saying they’re big fans of my music 🤦♂️😂. I learned a valuable lesson that day: I can’t control other people’s actions, but I can control how I respond. How you handle conflict says a lot about who you are! Each day brings a new test and a new opportunity to learn how to be Christlike. Lord help us all!

The daughter of Hollywood elitists Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner called for mask mandates to be reinstated during a speech at the United Nations. She warned that the pandemic is far from over and accused the world of ignoring, downplaying, and concealing the risks of airborne transmission and Long Covid.

@ArKiLe @60Minutes Only if USA still had capability after a nuclear attack. Sounds as if we would be glass and totally incapacitated.
English

@60Minutes Are we supposed to believe they would actually nuke the USA? They would be committing absolute civilization suicide because the USA return salvo would glass the entire country

Last time U.N inspectors were able to verify, Iran had 970 pounds of 60% enriched uranium. If enriched further, the stockpile could produce 10 to 11 nuclear bombs, says Matthew Bunn, a former White House nuclear advisor who works at Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center. cbsn.ws/4cTIyZB

Kathy Griffin finally addresses her support of Eric Swalwell on her podcast, saying she thought he was "the most electable" Democrat in the CA governor's race.
"I thought: we're in this era of only freaking white, straight guys can win."
Later, when asked by soap actress and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Eileen Davidson how Swalwell's entire staff couldn't see his MeToo vulnerabilities, Griffin merely responds: "Let's just be honest. We've all known that guy."
Later, soap opera actress Nancy Lee Grahn says: "I, like you, was a a huge supporter of Swalwell. I thought he was an incredibly effective congressman... I don't understand how they think they're not going to get caught in this day and age... I also think he's due due process. I wasn't automatically going to condemn someone that I thought was an effective congressman. However, then I did the research... and I'm highly disappointed and upset."
Griffin grimly responds, "Yeah, me too."

@yesnicksearcy Most sincere condolences to your family. He raised a strong family based on my following of Nick, no fear of speaking truth to power. That means so much in these days!!

He was and forever will be the most influential and important man in my life, a gigantic, larger-than-life, dynamic personality whose presence in my life never lessened, whose wisdom carried me through many tough moments, whose strength and determination inspired my own ambition, and whose sense of humor shaped my life and my work, and brightened the lives of everyone around him.
Dad, you were and always will be my hero.
(And by the way, my Dad didn’t smoke a pipe. He was just being silly.)

@1danacrfs @PeterSweden7 You sound truly curious, not condescending. If a vaccine can k*ll people, how can the same vaccine help people? Further, the logic of…oh well, it helps some and k*lls some seems naive to me. Is it like in war….the deaths are merely collateral damage?
English

@PeterSweden7 Is it all possible that the vaccine saved millions of lives and the ratio of survival compared to cause of death is lopsided in favor of the positive effectiveness of the vaccine?
Just a thought..

This should be headline news EVERYWHERE.
A Pfizer insider who was former head of toxicology in Europe has just come out and said something that many "conspiracy theorists" suspected.
He estimates that 20 000 to 60 000 people in Germany have died from the c*vid vaccine.
This was said at a parliamentary enquiry commission in Germany.
So why isn't this massive news being reported everywhere?
Is the mainstream media that has recieved millions in funding from Bill Gates deliberately covering this up... 🤔
