@gingerbonda One of Urvil or Sarfaraz should've been tried below Dube in the order instead of Prashant Veer.

They did. Trading Jadeja for samson, Investing on youngsters for first time 10 years, etc.. The way they picked the team i do believe their intention was to play aggressive. Could see in the first few games. Then Ruturaj had other plans. I don’t think anyone expected that.

@__NameNo__ Cannot be Kamboj as POS. Has been good and bad, but his good came in situations that don't merit him as much praise as an Overton or even Samson. Kamboj has only been able to utilize the team's good positions, has not been able to turn the game on his own.

@c_soubhagya Why not? I disagree. We're talking about a really good player of pace and someone who is really good at rotating strike. He's good at playing at a 130-150 SR and can play over 30 balls every innings if not forced into a role that requires risky shots.

@CRICitism We forget that it's not just about slogging. I agree with the rationale but we've to remember that not every player can handle the new ball very well. I do agree that he should be given a go at it regardless.

Man it may sound weird buttttt if there's such a scenario i would try Brevis as opener for once 👀 you never know , Brevis has capability to do what jos inglis does in PP . thoughts ?
`@spherixx07

Next year, CSK should pair Sanju Samson with a foreign attacking opener and continue with Ayush at No. 3. Ayush Mhatre played well at No. 3 this year. CSK should release Ruturaj Gaikwad and hand over captaincy to Samson if they are serious about winning the 6th trophy.

Deep Dasgupta called this ball from Cameron Green that Rohit Sharma hit for six as back of length delivery Do I know a wrong definition of back of length?

@DearthOfSid Blatant misinformation by a senior diplomat. In which way was India a democratic society of any kind? The kind he's referring to was during the Harappa-Mohenjedaro days.

@samiprajguru Not true at all. Has been very good this season. Even his cameo today was good. 2 centuries, 1 50+ score, a 48 in a sticky pitch and a lot of fiery starts in the PP. You can't be criticising Sanju for the same thing you praise a Ayush Mhatre for.

Sanju cant score consistently... thankfully he did in the last 3 matches of the world cup... but this character of Sanju will ruin his career...you cant depend on Sanju to Score in a big and important match...He may Score..& He May not Score...its a sign of a very ordinary player #sanjusamson @ChennaiIPL #ipl #CSKvsSRH

@pratyush_no7 Oh, 100%. He has great potential to hit hard lengths, yorkers and can swing the ball really well in the PP. This is a no-brainer. He's been patiently working w/ the staff as well. I think Eric likes him too. Release Henry and Foulkes. Spencer should be backed.

@SriniR_2025 The easy thing to do is say "hey, the game has changed, we should go all out" but the hard thing to do is to learn to balance the evolution with ensuring you don't go too far in your quest of modernizing. Fleming's doing that. I think, Rutu's captaincy needs time of course.

@SriniR_2025 Not sure I agree about Fleming going. I think he's still one of the best coaches out there on his clarity about the game. You say he's outdated, I don't agree. I think he's trying to make sure that we stick to finding a balance on how we approach the game. 1/

Fleming has to go but in spite of his failures, won't sack Rutu till mega auction. A good coach should pull up the captain for his conservative batting, don'tthink it ever happened. Bring in Simon Katich or someone of equal stature and someone who follows T20 around the world.

The Shreyas Iyer captaincy bubble popped and it had to be. Captaincy can influence the game in a limited sense. That is why I feel it is overrated. Now think about what good coaching can do, technically, tactically and mentally. The scope is much larger. Ponting did good work.

@6worldcups A blind slogger can never be how consistent Vaibhav is. To be in the top 10 run scorers among such technically refined batsmen at this age is outstanding stuff. He's just too good at picking up length and line and his bat speed is incredible. He times the ball too well.

@ram45tej They're great in Ahmedabad, but struggle elsewhere mostly. They'll struggle on pitches without too much pace or bounce or long boundaries.

@exceedingxpuns he has potential, for sure. isn't a pure slogger like the others in his generation. Reads the length well and generates good power. Needs work on the technique and footwork against pace.

Kartik Sharma seems to have no concept of strike rotation. Love it. Just hit a couple more sixes per game and he'll be good.

It's what makes him a special guy. It is also what makes people like Ancelotti a heavily successful manager despite so much criticism of his tactical acumen. Flick has shown that he's tactically good enough to get the players behind him. That's numero uno at any club. 2/2

It's clear that one reason why Flick's Barcelona has succeeded despite all odds (as some would say) in the last two seasons is that they keep it simple. There's not much talk about what could've been. It's simplicity, conviction and love. He manages the players so well. 1/

91 goals scored and a 90+ point season with Raphinha only starting 17/35 league games, Yamal starting 26/35 league games and Lewandowski declining, is a massive over-performance from Flick. He has the best attacking system in the world with how he generates chances from high pressing & build-up patterns that drag defenders out then invade the space created.

@Backhand_Slice_ not sure about this. I think, with the right combination, they're one of the most well-balanced sides in the league. The problem comes when they're not sticking to their team strengths. Fielding must be on point, lengths must be on point.

thing with CSK of 2026 is that no matter how many game they win, they are a flawed team in their construction and that means they don't offer room for mistakes or extraordinary performance of even one opposition player. such teams always gets exposed in long tournaments.
