@AMeowth18 @Loccdawggg @Lexcalibur001 It makes a point to say how outclassed humans are because of these supernatural abilities and healing, but they fight anyway. It’s like the main theme of the show. The indomitable human will. It would kinda ruin it if humans were just the same as demons but didn’t eat people.

We are given everything that implies the presence of abilities on both sides, and then all of a sudden we’re supposed to believe that one side doesn’t have it?

@AMeowth18 @Loccdawggg @Lexcalibur001 You can’t use the argument of “it looks like lightning”. That’s the entire point. The visuals are fake. What we see isn’t there. What is actually happening is he’s sending a long range slash, like almost every swordsman in any anime can do, with a lightning effect over the top.

@Azazelop123 @Loccdawggg @Lexcalibur001 His demon art is the burning “poison”. He uses the breathing form to amplify and apply it. Even in the manga panel he is physically firing off lightning. But again, demon slayer is just some weird series that built something up and the just randomly threw it away.

@AMeowth18 @Loccdawggg @Lexcalibur001 I think your confusion might be from Kaigaku’s Demon Art burning Zenitsu’s flesh. That isn’t from lightning. As we can see from his movement and he says here multiple times, all of his attacks are just slashing and the demon art causes those slashes to cause burning on his body.

@Azazelop123 @Loccdawggg @Lexcalibur001 Though demon slayer is just weird like that. They put in so much stuff that implies super humans and abilities, and then just randomly decide to retcon and just say, “these are just some normal ass people”.

@Azazelop123 @Loccdawggg @Lexcalibur001 I’m pulling from the wiki, manga pages, and other places. Idk where they got “charges forward” at as he never did do that. But if you do look just under that, there’s Heat Lightning.

@Azazelop123 @Loccdawggg @Lexcalibur001 What you described is a different breathing form. Distant Thunder, while released in singular slash, is a projectile based ability. Even the 5th form, Heat Lightning, is projectile based but I wanted to focus more on distant Thunder.

@AMeowth18 @Loccdawggg @Lexcalibur001 No it isn’t. It looks like lightning of course, but it is just releasing multiple slashes from a single strike by just moving super fast. All of Kaigaku’s moves are like that. A bunch of slashes with the lightning effect around them. Also it’s true for all projectile breathing.

@Azazelop123 @Loccdawggg @Lexcalibur001 That would make sense for Wind Breathing but only Wind breathing. Distant Thunder’s whole purpose is to just shoot lighting at an opponent.

@AMeowth18 @Loccdawggg @Lexcalibur001 Projectile attacks are a normal thing in anime. Any anime with super human swordsman has long range slashes. Zoro does everything that the Wind Breathing does, but no one says he has wind powers. He’s just super strong. DS is the same. Just powerful slashes and wind pressure.

@Azazelop123 @Loccdawggg @Lexcalibur001 Even if their super-human speed is explainable, we just kinda forget that one of the breathing forms is to just… shoot lighting. Distant Thunder. On top of that, Wind Breathing has another projectile based form. Any of the projectile based breathing forms make no sense.

@AMeowth18 @Loccdawggg @Lexcalibur001 But that’s just insane physical speed. Every time it’s used it focuses on the muscles in their legs for insane bursts of speed. They even did it when Tanjiro mimicked Zenitsu in season 3.

@JoellJoelly Last I checked the obliterater doesn’t. Maybe through buildings but not through actual terrain.

I saw this question on reddit... What sniper is better? and it does depends... If you want them for defenders I'd say go with the Obliterator... its stronger and has a cheaper ammo type... if you want a sniper to use yourself the neon has the ability to see through terrain...

@transhelsie Something neat I learned years ago is that crescent kick takes upon the element of the weapon you hold. Helps with extra elemental damage.
