@ZachBIsrael I have been thinking this for years @ZachBIsrael.. that driving is on of the only licenses that you don’t have to take “continuing education” classes to maintain. Yet it’s one of the most important skills we “possess.”

Simply mandating that DC residents take this test at least once every 8 years (as a condition of their license renewal) could make a helpful impact and save lives. dmv.dc.gov/service/knowle…

Something that hasn't been mentioned at all in today's conversation on traffic enforcement in the District is the fact that most drivers (myself included) aren't required to take a driver knowledge test if they already have a license! And I've been here for 10 years now!
