Today we're in Bucharest for the ANIS International Summit, hosted by @ANIS_RO – a proud member of the CEE Digital Coalition. 🇷🇴 Together with @MichaKanownik (@ZIPSEE_Cyfrowa ) and @JaromirHanzal (@aavit_asociace), we are representing the Coalition and strengthening ties across Central and Eastern Europe to advance digital transformation in our region. Events like this are essential to deepen cooperation between #CEE countries. As members of the Coalition, we share knowledge, experiences, and a common goal: to build a competitive and innovative region.

At the invitation of Vice President @negrescuvictor, we joined key stakeholders during the Romanian Digital Day in European Parliament in Brussels to discuss the digital transformation of Central & Eastern Europe. Romania stands out as a regional tech hub, with the IT sector contributing 6% to its GDP and over 120,000 IT specialists. Investments in digital infrastructure and a growing startup ecosystem further strengthen its position in the region. By continuing regional collaboration and investing in technology, we can shape the digital future of Central & Eastern Europe together. @EZaharievaEU

It is important to underline the huge potential we have in the region. In order to use it, we must work on the European level and develop regulations allowing this potential to be unleashed. I hope that we will be able to promote policy-making fostering innovation and digital growth. We must find ways to retain talented individuals and innovative companies in our region and allow them to grow and innovate in Central Eastern Europe.
