Look… I know there’s critique of the queer coded villain trope and all that… but PLEASE bring back flamboyant animated villains with their gay little henchmen. Villains have been so STALE since we got too cowardly to give them eyeliner and musical numbers

I love that we've taken computers - a machine designed exclusively to do math - and taken away the ability to solve gradeschool math problems and all it cost us was the amazon rainforest

my personal idea of like. ideal sentient mech is one that has a little bit of plausible deniability. Like, doesn’t talk to their pilot in their language or move around totally independently all the time, but clearly has Some sort of Thing Going On. the mystery is kinda part of it

@autumn_terror Sometimes my job literally relies on those people! Those people are DISCIPLES OF THE LORD. they are important for the ecosystem, even the most distant parts of it.

anyway i see this happen in literally every fan circle i'm in and it's just so senseless to me. imagine mocking someone for caring about something a lot. it must suck to be so spiteful and jaded.

i think it's interesting how people will make fun of some folks in fan spaces for being like, "too obsessed," "having no life," etc but will rely on those same people as a credible source for info, release dates, and whatnot.

finally played disco elysium and i'm almost mad that i did. feels like i just picked up the video game equivalent of a meth problem. like, what's out there that would feel even 1/10th as good? feels like the only winning move is to stop playing games and start reading books again
