The X messages/inbox/chat whatever it’s called is horrendous. Buggy, no notifications, no indication of new requests, riddled with spam. I’ve missed so many potential icon clients I learned today.

@ANoffsinger Yeah I think I could see a Chat/Cowork <> Code future. I fantasize about a future where you're just interacting with Claude and the interface is shaping itself around you and your needs.

Love the Claude desktop app. I think it's ready to be broken into a couple desktop apps, or simplified

@amorriscode I get the distribution angle for sure. Do you mean Chat/Cowork/Code tabs will go away? Feels to me like Cowork <> Projects wants to become one thing, with Chats comprising them. Then code could be a separate app? That would map to my usage but I'm sure you have more insight!

After releasing Shiori a few weeks ago, some power-bookmarkers imported thousands of links and I racked up a pretty decent X API + Claude bill. I probably over-reacted and raised prices too fast + nerfed the free plan too aggressively. As a result, the free plan ended up feeling ~useless, even for casual bookmarkers. Our whole discipline is probably just called "Product" eventually. Super ICs that do the whole thing—product strategy, design, and build. Imo, design/taste is the best spike for this future
