Sick of accusations that the Trans community make hyperbolic statements! During the last week my life has literally been like the day they dropped the bomb on Hiroshima, over & over again. This really is awful. I suspect the poor women was let down many times during her life. She deserved none of it. Letting her commit suicide was just another example of letting her down. When a person is mentally ill, hopeless, and depressed, she needs help. She needs love. She doesn’t need activists saying she should be allowed to kill herself.

I have a "non-binary" female friend (age 38). She wants a mastectomy, even though she acknowledges that she is female. Her claim is she doesn't want to be a "woman," because she doesn't like the box she thinks that puts her in. I have gotten her to admit that the so-called box is just stereotypes, but she maintains that she can't see past the stereotypes. It didn't help that she is a lesbian and her family shamed her as a child for being a tomboy and a lesbian.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but your daughter "identifying as non-binary" is not a guarantee she won't medicalize. "Non-binary" identifying girls get mastectomies and/or take testosterone all the time. It's a thing.

I am tired of the lying. It wasn't canceled because of "comments were made which threatened the safety of students and staff" (which is a vague and non-specific phrase). It was probably cancelled because parents did not want their kids to see an inappropriate and possibly pornographic performance. They probably also didn't want their kids to be around Jordan Marsh.
