At my house, we use an electric stove which is a “heavy-draw appliance.” This means it uses quite a lot of power (1500 watts per hour). In order to conserve energy, my family reduces their overall cook time. #apesenergy @franklinlorax

Our sunroom has a lot of windows to let in sunlight. When it’s light outside, we can turn the lights off in our house to conserve electricity! #apesenergy @franklinlorax

Since dominos doesn’t turn off the oven after every pizza, we waste a lot of energy :(

The San Andreas fault is a continental transform fault in the state of California. The plates in the fault slide against eachother for form the fault. Hopefully it stays in tact and we don’t end up like the Rock in the movie San Andreas #apesland @franklinlorax

This is an example of a hot spot. This is when a plate is forced under another plate. This forces molten rock through the crust forming volcanoes. This is how the Hawaiian Islands were formed. @franklinlorax #apesland

Here in Franklin, we do not live near a fault line of a tectonic plate however we still experience very low magnitude earthquakes every day #apesland @franklinlorax

These are my parents. They were both educated on family planning therefore only had 3 kids. Parents less educated on something like family planning tend to have more children. This commonly occurs in 3rd world countries like Africa. @franklinlorax #apespop
