@KontrolFreek @IGN I kind of agree. I'm actually a little worried about this movie, altogether. Nailing the very nuanced style of the games in a live-action scenario is going to be extremely difficult.

@MorbidKnowledge Showing up with a sheriff and a moving truck to legally foreclose on a bank is without a doubt the single greatest deployment of the Uno Reverse card in modern legal history.

Bank of America wrongfully foreclosed on the Nyerges’ home, so the married couple sued and won. When the bank refused to pay the fines, they showed up with the sheriff and a moving truck to seize the local branch’s assets.
In 2009, retired police officer Warren Nyerges and his wife Maureen paid $165,000 cash for a home in Naples, Florida.
Despite there being no mortgage, Bank of America wrongfully filed for foreclosure.
The couple sued and won a $2,500 judgment for legal fees, which the bank ignored for months.
In June 2011, the couple showed up at the local branch with a Sheriff’s deputy and a moving truck, prepared to seize the bank's furniture and cash to satisfy the debt.
The bank manager quickly cut them a check.

Donald Miller was declared legally dead after vanishing for 8 years. He came back, stood in front of a judge, and asked to be declared alive, the judge said no.
In 1986, Donald Miller of Ohio disappeared to escape debt and alcoholism. In 1994, he was declared legally dead so his ex-wife could claim Social Security benefits for their children.
When Miller "resurfaced" in 2005 and later appeared in court in 2013 to be declared alive, Judge Allan Davis refused.
The judge ruled that under Ohio law, a death ruling cannot be overturned after more than three years.
Legally, Miller remained "deceased," leaving him unable to get a driver's license or social security number.

@monon7143230 @DefiantLs If he's put on death row, he'll sit there for 30 damn years in basically 23hr lockdown. Unless he kills himself, he'll make it to his execution date on three decades of taxpayer funded meals and baths.
English

@DefiantLs He won’t make it to his likely execution date, which is always too far in the future.
They’ll give him jailhouse justice, for pedophiles. His days are numbered.
