Ministry of Railways announcing June 1, 2026 as formation of South Coast Railway zone. Headquartered in Visakhapatnam, it re-organizes divisions from East Coast and South Central Railways, including a new Rayagada division.

If spare rake is available in SR, 1st work for them to shift such rake to other zones in north or somewhere outside India. Now They are become haters of RMM. Vizag to get another major railway station @ Sabbavaram • New railway station planned near Sabbavaram, around 30 km from VSKP • Station to come up on proposed AKP - KTV bypass line • Planned infrastructure incl 6 PF s and 2 freight yards.

Propose an Intercity SF Express Train to Vijayawada also. Which needed the Amaravati Capital Connection.

Instead of new station. They can develop Pendurthi Railway Station. It has existing Infrastructure. It will be cost saving to @railmin

Nalgonda and it's surrounding towns and villages are used this train to come AP Capital. For Vijayawada and Guntur, it is a fastest connection to Hyderabad. ECoR has revised the timings for Train 18525 (BAM-VSKP) Express, effective J.C.O. 20.07.2026. The train will now depart Brahmapur (BAM) earlier at 06:45 instead 09:45 and is scheduled to arrive at Visakhapatnam (VSKP) at 12:00 instead of 14:40. Kindly Refer PTT timings.
