We are going to reset our expectations now. APT Namecheap is signing off, but will be watching.

Timing might be a coincidence but in recent days Namecheap has reversed their "actively refuse to work Twitter abuse complaints" policy.
At the same time, we were also asking ICANN people some very specific questions while researching for a post.
