What do you think?
I have groups of younger hacker friends who basically go on campaigns of hacking things they think would be fun to hack. Whole industries.
They find great things but not all of the companies in their research have safe harbor or bug bounties.
They are always responsible and inform the companies. They work with them to fix. They don’t ask for bounties. They do publish their work for press.
I love that the new world and internet is more open to security research but it still kinda scares me to death FOR them.

Earlier this week, systems in our development environment were compromised via a social engineering attack. We don’t have all the answers right now, but we wanted to communicate early and let you know there is no indication that player data or personal information was obtained.

@Hetzner_Online I agree that evidence is key here. If I post a screenshot of the server in question being actively abused (active dialer, phone numbers of victims etc) and a little due diligence on your part (scan for VoIP activity on port 5060). If in doubt, you could ask for more evidence?

Could @Hetzner_Online please explain the purpose of your abuse team if all they will do is forward an abuse complaint to the criminals? I provided evidence of the abuse which you could check even if you can't access the content.
