The Madanapalle–Pileru section of NH-71 in Andhra Pradesh has been upgraded to a 4-lane National Highway. Serving as a vital feeder route to Tirupati and the eastern coastal corridors, this corridor reduces travel time by about 45 minutes, improving connectivity for daily commuters, freight movement and pilgrims travelling to Tirupati. The project also supports local livelihoods by providing enhanced access for farmers to the markets, boosting trade, businesses and strengthening economic activity across the state of Andhra Pradesh.
