If you're a neuroscientist, you've probably heard that congress passed final appropriations for FY24, with deep cuts (~40%) to BRAIN Initiative. Advocates are now pushing for +$740 million in FY25 and @SfNtweets made it easy for you to add your voice here: sfn.org/Advocacy/Advoc…

As some of you are well aware, the BRAIN Initiative funding was cut by 40% (braininitiative.nih.gov/news-events/bl…). “This is truly awful, This large cut to the BRAIN Initiative is, simply put, going to kill jobs and hurt patients over the next 10-20 years.” – Kip Ludwig, PhD

@SiaraRouzer C in gen chem here🙋🏼‍♀️ and it didn’t stop me from getting into grad school or from getting an NSF GRFP fellowship (even though at the time it felt like it would really hinder my future success)!

Looking to prove a point with my undergrad RAs. Can any fulltime scientists (all career stages) share if they received a 'C' grade or lower on their undergraduate transcripts? Bonus points for sharing the class title.
