@TheDarkLawTV I actually think succulent giveaways are being used as masking for viewbotting activity now.

I totally get this POV, I can't stand channels with !raffle and !begathons every week with jangly keys content to distract you from ZERO going on. I've said it time and time again. Giveaways are the worst thing to grow your channel and I come from experience in that dept, I made that mistake. The moment you stop, people leave. So you need to keep doing it, which is unhealthy. However this isn't just Star Citizen tho, every game is like this. Companies give me items/digital to giveaway, but I don't promote it unless it's some written thing for adverts from them. This is just business. BUT ain't no one has to "Pay" me anything to Enter/Win, in fact most my giveaway winners are from just a viewer who just follows. There is nasty giveaways, bots and scammers and there is healthy giveaways which is just Creators giving back to their Community. Up to you which one you will be!

@TheDarkLawTV Yeah I think big giveaways aren't great and we can already say that they don't do much anymore anyway because twitch invalidates a viewer if they are tabbed into more than one or two streams and most of the giveaway lurkers are in 10+ tabs.

@andrazoth Yeah it's trash. And my main bone of contention is that they made AC run bad too by merging it with the PU somehow, where it used to run so fluidly.... So basically there's nowhere people can duel with good performance. 5 steps backwards with CIG.

@ARCVR1 Idk man I think that the server performances are trash everywhere rn I did some kareah run recently the desyc was dzad awful (idk how it was before cuz I had 5 fps so I could even spot desync). For me it's clearly not only a dgs problem but also global shot to fix
