Lilongwe, Malawi – 25 July 2025: Today, the Government of the Republic of Malawi has received an insurance payout from the African Risk Capacity (ARC) Group to the sum of USD $3,376,783, following a drought that affected the 2024/2025 agricultural season.

🇲🇼 Today in Lilongwe, Malawi received a US$3.4M payout from @ARCapacityLtd after a drought-hit 2024/25 season. 🇳🇱 The Netherlands is proud to support the ARC fund helping cover insurance costs for small-scale farmers. Insurance is key to recovery after disasters but often out of reach for those who need it most.
