For the people that say 8 classifications doesn’t water down the playoffs, I hope you’re watching the 1A and 2A men’s finals…the losing teams in both games combined for 22 losses on the season, and were nowhere near even winning their own conference. Make it stop.

I need someone to explain it to me like I’m 5 years old why it’s necessary to wait until all of your conference opponents have been eliminated from the state playoffs to release your All Conference selections. Makes absolutely zero sense.

@KyleZoomZumbach @LakeNormanMBB Correct…state playoffs have no bearing. All coaches in the conference meet the day after the regular season is over and decide who gets it. Regular season has been over almost a month…no reason to make the kids wait that long.

@ASU44 @LakeNormanMBB Tbh I agree. It should be either after or before conference tournament I assume All conference is just conference awards during the conference schedule n playoffs have no affect

@brhswolves_wbb @LakeNormanMBB I guess…but still not sure why it matters if you wait a week or two. At least let the kids be acknowledged that didn’t make the playoffs or had a very brief run.

🚨🚨🚨 132-10 (61-0) is a incredible accomplishment that Coach McKenzie Graham has built at LN. She is the Standard of what Girls Basketball should be. One of the best and The Best in this county currently bar none! 61-0 in conference is insane! Congratulations on a great year

Making a HS schedule for a boys team is damn near impossible when you have a good girls team, and so many of these schools refuse to play them. When did so many coaches become such cowards?

Everyone gets a trophy. Teams that couldn’t actually beat their competition were probably elated when their main competitors switched classes and cleared the runway for them.

Asking for a friend…how do players keep individual stats on teams that forfeit games. Unless the definition has changed, doesn’t a forfeit mean you scored zero points? So if you keep those players stats, how do you still lose the game???
