I need someone to explain it to me like I’m 5 years old why it’s necessary to wait until all of your conference opponents have been eliminated from the state playoffs to release your All Conference selections. Makes absolutely zero sense.

EXTRA POSSESSIONS This is the only way for an inferior team to win in a 7 game series, barring a major shooting outlier. Critical for coaches at every level to understand this concept. MOST basketball INNOVATION comes from inferior teams manipulating the possession battle to negate the PPP advantage, like Morey ball, for example. These are the metrics to toy with schematically 👇 Turnover margin Pace O Boards 3 point shot Shaka Smart, Belmont, Princeton, Rick Carlisle, Kelvin Sampson, Dave Smart, Dusty May, Aaron Fearne, Ben McCollum (and countless others), have all taken advantage of this in some capacity with a TON of success.
