I was raised on work ethic. That’ll never change. Let’s not lose sight of that for ourselves or others.

Wow. Better get your tissues ready before watching this. I'm lucky enough to be able to cover this program, and I can promise you that this was 100% authentic. Coach Aw is the definition of a leader, and these 3 young ladies are total class acts. youtu.be/sh-f8CfeVZA

This story is still as true today as it was ten years ago when I wrote it for @ourstatemag. On growing up when the Fridays of the ACC Tournament were magical...as long as you had one of the cool teachers. ourstate.com/growing-acc-ba…

@brhswolves_wbb @LakeNormanMBB I guess…but still not sure why it matters if you wait a week or two. At least let the kids be acknowledged that didn’t make the playoffs or had a very brief run.

I need someone to explain it to me like I’m 5 years old why it’s necessary to wait until all of your conference opponents have been eliminated from the state playoffs to release your All Conference selections. Makes absolutely zero sense.

1) See the gaps (Vision) 2) Develop a plan 3) Attack the gaps (Relentless Effort & Execution) Close the gaps everyday. Find the little areas to attack. See what people can be and help them to see it and believe it. Always ask, “what can we do better?” Bridge the gap between reality & potential.

The Problem Isn’t the Players, Coaches, or Refs — It’s the Parents open.substack.com/pub/cgoodrum/p… After 20+ years coaching high school and travel basketball, I can say this clearly: The worst behavior in youth sports isn’t coming from the players, coaches, or refs. It’s coming from the stands. If we want youth sports to improve, parents have to change too. New piece: “The Problem Isn’t the Players — It’s the Parents.”

It’s been proven time & time again, the less you dribble the more effective you are Bellarmine U - The team that doesn’t dribble Klay Thompson once scored 60 on 11 dribbles Quite frankly, if you’re not a professional, there’s no need for a multi dribble iso step back
Transforming Basketball@transformbball

2/6 The issue is context. A 14-year-old doesn’t need a multiple dribble isolation step-back move. They need to become great at what shows up the most in the game: - Reading closeouts - Spot up shooting - Rim finishing - On-ball defense
