EXTRA POSSESSIONS This is the only way for an inferior team to win in a 7 game series, barring a major shooting outlier. Critical for coaches at every level to understand this concept. MOST basketball INNOVATION comes from inferior teams manipulating the possession battle to negate the PPP advantage, like Morey ball, for example. 2/6 The issue is context. A 14-year-old doesn’t need a multiple dribble isolation step-back move. They need to become great at what shows up the most in the game: - Reading closeouts - Spot up shooting - Rim finishing - On-ball defense
