In case you haven’t heard, there’s been a lot of talk lately about me basically running the entire state of Alabama. Honestly, I’m just surprised it took this long for everyone to figure it out. Why do you think I’m late everywhere I go? I have a lot to coordinate these days. So in the name of transparency, we decided to come clean about it all ⬇️ The truth is out. #iykyk

There’s been a lot of talk about who is controlling the Alabama May 19th primaries. We thought we’d clear the air and come clean on the TRUTH about Allison Sinclair. @ASinclairAL

@ALJackBurns George Floyd type riots and the entire state’s economy would crash is what I heard. Florida does seem to be struggling economically with all their conservative policies so makes sense.

On Monday, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals vacated the opinion finding that Mississippi’s current Supreme Court map violated the Voting Rights Act and must be redrawn.   As a result, the injunction preventing Mississippi from using the current Supreme Court map was dissolved. This means Mississippi’s current map can still be used in all future elections.   While I always believed that the District Court’s opinion was erroneous and eventually would be overturned on appeal, to preserve the Mississippi Legislature’s right under both state and federal law to have the first opportunity to redraw the Supreme Court map, I set a special session of the Mississippi Legislature that would have begun next Wednesday. However, because the District Court’s injunction has been dissolved and the current Supreme Court map again is in full force and effect, there is no need for the Legislature to draw a new map.  I am recalling and dissolving my April 23, 2026, Proclamation which called for a special session to redraw Mississippi’s Supreme Court map next Wednesday. As I said this morning, I expect lawmakers to redraw congressional lines sometime BETWEEN NOW and 2027 elections. I also expect them to redraw legislative and Supreme Court lines sometime between now and 2027 elections. Today is not the end of the redistricting process — it is just the beginning! Stay Tuned…

John Wahl for Lieutenant Governor
Alabama is one of the most Republican states in America. Our congressional map should reflect that. As soon as legally possible, Alabama must redraw our map to 7-0. The people of this state deserve conservative fighters in Washington. Let’s get it done!

Last week, Rep. Juandalynn Givan released a poem called "Dear White People" in response to the redistricting push by Republicans. Today, we broke it down and gave our response: @ASinclairAL @abshaver @JPRightside

“Dear White People” by Juandalynn Givan (paraphrased for convenience) Dear White People, We’d love it if you would just unalive yourselves as soon as possible. The world would be a better place without you. But before you go, could you please save our Black voting districts? Because after all these years, we still can’t do it ourselves. Very sincerely, Black Alabama Democrats P.S. This applies to Black people with an “R” by their name as well….looking at you, Kenneth Paschal. And to be honest, we haven’t decided whether this applies to white people with a “D” by their names too. We may need to use them in the future, so stay tuned. P.P.S. In case you were wondering, you’re still the racists. Not us. @Rightside_Media
