Senator Elizabeth Warren is facing backlash from Democrats who believe she is not meeting the moment and is out of step with the base. Warren is being urged by voters to rescind her endorsement of Mallory McMorrow in the Michigan senate primary, after a resurfaced leaked audio of McMorrow’s campaign went viral on X and exposed her secret ties to AIPAC and devious campaign plans to defeat the only progressive in the race @AbdulElSayed Warren has previously faced backlash for backing moderate candidates in the pocket of big money and the pro-Israel lobby. AIPAC and its affiliated groups and private donors have bragged about their recent tactics in the Illinois primary, they have spread blatant islamophobia, and have bought politicians to do Israel’s bidding, at a time when American support for Israel is at historic lows. Michiganders have raised questions as to why Senator Warren would even endorse Mallory McMorrow over Dr. Abdul El-Sayed given that McMorrow opposes Medicare For All. Senator Warren’s campaign did not respond to a request for comment.
