@ATADA_Stakepool @DenicioBernier Thank you. Charles has committed to attending alongside CF, EMURGO, Intersect and I’m keen to have Midnight join as the largest CNT in our ecosystem. I sincerely believe we can change the narrative and bring the spotlight back to Cardano!

With most IO proposals on there way to be enacted, lets shine a light on the Cardano Summit 2026 proposal. Now is not the time to scale down and hide from the world. Holding the summit this year might be the most important one ever. We have to show that we are still strong and pushing. Many Devs from other chains are around at the same time, lets give them a warm welcome and great contacts face2face at the Cardano Summit! Please consider to vote YES on that revisited proposal. Ask your DRep. Best regards, Martin adastat.net/governances/7b…

To be honest and frank, I thought you would be secretly happy if at least a few of the IO proposals didn't get funding. Because it would mean the governance system you had helped design and bring to fruition was actually working and you really were "Charles the Community Member" versus the king/CEO of Cardano. Project Catalyst predicted precisely this friction for the past 5-6 years. All of us who had to go and compete for scarce resources have, in our turn, been called all sorts of names from scammer to grifter to receiving threats of violence and death. Most of us truly believe the things we were proposing would meaningfully improve the Cardano ecosystem. Most of us were wrong most of the time. Probably all of us have had to make the hard decision to let contractors and employees go when we could no longer afford them. We've all also invested heavily of our time, energy, and personal savings because we believe in the mission; even if the numbers are orders of magnitude different, the relative scale of impact remains. A lot of people are in an austerity mindset right now because many of us have been already stretched thin and doing our best to make it work and clearly every year will remain a competition for a finite resource. But, we're all still here. That can't mean nothing. We never started down this path thinking it would be easy. Also, I apologize for responding in such a way to this clip taken out of context. I have great respect for you and the things you've built here and elsewhere. I hope you and IO remain as valued contributors to the Cardano ecosystem for many years to come. Not every no vote is a "No to Charles" or "No to IOG", it could very well be just a not right now. I'll promise to try and do better with my relatively small platform. But I won't stop asking critical questions when I think they're warranted, I'll just try to be less adversarial in my tone and open to hear both sides of the argument.

JUST IN: #Cardano $ADA Founder Charles Hoskinson says "this governance brings out the worst in people, and it's not doing Cardano any service, it's getting in the way of people putting a vision and a roadmap together, it really is."

So, for now i have voted "abstain" on the IO Maintenance treasury withdrawal. Bcs i have not fully read thru it (some have a busy daytime job) and i dont wanna block or benefit anyone for now. BUT, if i vote yes and IO does not deliver within 12months, it will be the last time i will ever vote yes on an IO proposal. The amount of money waisted is absurd. No transparency on the actual internal spending. I think, the community can step up and do the job in the same or most likely in a better way. IO has the most experience yes, but the treasury is not a money cow. IO is trying to keep the god status on Cardano. Research driven blockchain brought me to Cardano. But, at some point, there must be results and usecases the community and businesses really need! That point was one year ago. The pressure that is made from various IO and sub employees on DReps by sending DMs is not good! I am experiencing it myself and i hear it from multiple other DReps. One of the worst examples is Charles blaiming people like Adam Dean or Yuta on X. You all have to STOP IT! Fuck eh... yea i am pissed. Do you believe in decentralized governance or not!? Let the DReps and Community do there job. Martin

In the upcoming v2.1 release, Eternl can create governance proposals directly in the wallet, create and pin metadata, sign them as the author, and submit them on-chain in minutes. We put that to good use and published our own Treasury Withdrawal proposal for this year's budget cycle, it's called "Eternl: Path to Sustainability (2026-2027)". A lot has been going on behind the scenes. A complete rewrite of our very core library, removing dependencies and adding more flexibility for future feature additions. Version 2.1 will also add the long-planned Pro Mode, which is an integral part of our efforts to become self-sustainable even under current market conditions. We will cover more soon and are happy to answer any questions that come up. The proposal includes an FAQ section to start. Thanks in advance to everyone voting on the proposal and giving feedback. adastat.net/governances/9a…

This is massive, a zero-effort tool you can run to optimize your smart contracts. You don't need to modify your smart contract code at all, just put the compiled bytecode into the command line tool, and get the optimized bytecode as output. Free efficiency, there is no reason for dApps not to be running this right now to reduce end-user fees and improve their application throughput.
Input Output Group@IOGroup

Smaller, cheaper Plutus scripts are now one command away. On recent mainnet scripts, the new uplc tool delivered 10%+ average cost savings. Read more: iog.io/news/uplc-comm… The Plutus treasury proposal funds the next wave, read more here: momentum.cardano.iog.io/proposals/plut…

Yes - the CARDANO SUMMIT is expensive No - it is not wasteful spending Yes - I work for @Cardano_CF No - Im not biased Paradox! Liar! Entitled Asshole! How dare you! F#k OFF! You only save your own salary! not quite... Let me start with a personal reason.... I attended around 50 crypto conferences in the last 10 years and was on stage at a few of them. I was at 4 out of 5 Cardano Summits, spoke at 3 of them and my first one (Lausanne) convinced me to dedicate 100% of my available time to the vision that Cardano has and all you amazing people reflect. I often say that the reason why Im here was the professional, non-hype driven energy of Lausanne. For comparison: I went to Bitcoin Miami just before Lausanne, in a period where I was looking for a new professional residence, and while I got 2 good job offers during this insane conference with the most influential people and companies present, it was Cardano Summit, and you lot, that made me choose - and find my residence. The Cardano Summit is an extraordinary event and your critiques are valuable, heck, necessary, but killing it does more damage than you realize. It is NOT a crypto party for the elite.. even if you wish it was to underline your arguments. I was at plenty of crypto conferences that were actually just big parties. If you have been at the Summit, you know - it is not one of those. But I dont judge you for believing that happens. 2.5m sure sounds like it. It is the only event in Cardanoland thats tailored towards the projects and companies that do not exist on X. "STF Alex! Those are pipe dreams. Institutional Adoption never comes. Better pump bags with DeFi!" Well... - Draper. The audience and the impression of Dubai made on them mattered. Tim Draper himself announced in Berlin they chose Cardano and its builders to build out their portfolio of valuable companies. - Service Plan and Würth Group had massively successful announcements. One of them is running one of the most successful projects ever on Cardano right now - and the users dont even know they are using Cardano. Masumi. - Freakin' Nasa presented space part supply chains on Cardano at the summit two years ago. I mean.. wtf. With a better administration, and more institutional tooling, mainnet and putting this in production isnt far away. - Don Tapscott is a regular since 3 years, I interviewed him in Berlin for a podcast, and he brought more eyes to Cardano with his reach than any million could ever buy. - Volvo, Novo Nordisk, Orange, Boston Consulting Group, State Street, United Nations, Women in Tech, and many many MANY more were there just last year - and they either already ran projects on Cardano, or were strategically there to get an impression. I talked with 12 people in my little podcast studio, and backstage with a lot of speakers - all unilaterally had one thing to say: This crypto conference is different... for the better. The Cardano Summit is NOT for Cardano. Thats what Rare Evo, the Buidler Fest, Cardano Africa, and all the other amazing events in locations like IOs Buenos Aires office are for. They are valuable - but those dont attract many outsiders. Its cooking in our own kitchen. Comfortable, well known, but it tastes the same. The Cardano Summit is for those companies that seek professional residence - like i once did and having it just before Token 2049 (in fact, next door), which draws in 25'000 people outside of our ecosystem, will spill over to the summit. Holy shit. Epic. "yeah thats cool and all. still f#ck you CF. You are rich as f#k, dont deliver on your shit and are supposed to pay. you are just acting in your interest to survive." Dont worry, CF spends 45m every year and is on track to not exist anymore in about 5 years - we are extincting ourselves soon enough. and btw.. CFs internal cost to organize the event arent included in the budget. Everything we do is public: #page=27" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">…financialreport.cardanofoundation.org/#page=27
