بشكل رسمي اكدت وزارة الدفاع الان ان العراق يضع تطوير الدفاع الجوي والقوة الجوية العراقية اولوية ، حيث استلم العراق خلال عام 2025 عدد من الردارات الفرنسية المتطورة ، واستلم دفعات لمروحيات كاراكال والتي سيبلغ عدد ما وصل منها 6 نهاية هذا العام

سيكون هنالك 4 مروحيات جديدة تصل قبل نهاية هذا العام ، حيث ستصل مروحيتين بداية الشهر ال 11 ومروحيتين في بداية الشهر 12 ، وستستمر الدفعات على هذا المنوال . ابرز الاشياء التي لا تحتويها النسخة العراقية هي عدم وجود انبوب الارضاع الجوي حتى الان ، وغالبا لن يكون موجود في النسخ المسلحة
