@ATJsmooth @Sports_Med_Bros My take is that as someone who has personally had rhabdo, and had multiple athletes with it, the swollen appendages post workout and or severe DOMS is an instant red flag. Urgent physician referral or ER visit.

We were going to discuss this but left it out of the @Sports_Med_Bros pod… one of the 5 domains of AT is “Immediate and Emergency Care”, seems to have been left out here.

ATs working in settings other than small college or SSAT, should take a minute to think about how easy their jobs are when they see 5-8 athletes each day…when SSATs see that every 10 minutes 🤔 I’ve been at every level & SSAT life isn’t as easy as the others. Just saying…

I don’t think ANYBODY here disagrees about what it is we do, & that we need to advocate as ATs but what was supposed to be a goofy video she was then publicly shamed.
