ATK ZERO Review (The mouse has been provided by @AtkGear, thoughts are my own) Information about the mouse: - Sensor: PAW3950 Ultra - MCU: Nordic 54L15 - Polling Rate: 125-8000Hz - Weight: 39±3g (base colors) / 44±3g (frosted colors) - Coating: Nano Coating - Battery: 300 mAh - Dimensions: 120.1mm x 63.2mm x 38.1mm Time of use: - 10 days Tested with following games: - VALORANT - KovaaK's - THE FINALS - Overwatch - Escape from Tarkov - CS2 TL;DR (For the lazy): The ATK ZERO is a great option for $60, solid sensor, great battery life, comfy shape that works for pretty much any grip, and software that actually doesn't suck. Though, I have seen that some reviewers had mushy left and right clicks, as well as shell creaking (AFAIK creaking only happens on frosted shells). But if you are looking for a budget alternative to Pulsars X2, this would be a decent option. ————————————————————————— Performance: The performance is great, zero issues during gameplay, aiming felt spot on the whole time. Battery life is also impressive, as I have only put the mouse to charge while using it on 2K polling rate for those 10 days. Build quality/Coating: The build is solid for the price, no flex during normal use on my unit, coating feels grippy and premium. I have not experienced any creaking of the shell, buttons feel solid with no flex, but the side buttons feel a bit mushy. Though, worth to mention, the black colorway is a fingerprint magnet. The main clicks are great, feel very crispy, though they have some pre-travel, mostly noticeable if you keep your fingers high on the buttons. Not a dealbreaker but worth knowing depending on how you grip. Shape: The shape reminds me of the Pulsar X2 I have, but slightly wider in hand and the hump being slightly extended outward, which feels great for palm and claw grips. Software: The software is clean and actually pretty good, the UI makes sense, they even included a battery estimator that tells you exactly how long you've got based on your settings. Genuinely one of the better software I used. Though, I had an issue with the web-based driver for couple of days, where it would not load it in, but possibly they had some issues on their end. Final thoughts: For the price, ATK really delivered with the ZERO. Sensor is clean, software is great, battery lasts a long time, and the shape is comfortable for pretty much any grip. Pre-travel on the main clicks and mushy side buttons are the only real complaints, and even those are minor. Hard to go wrong with this one if you're on a budget and don't want to compromise on performance.
