How Would 12-Weeks Great Weeks Transform Your Body and Career? Here is what a former finalist has to say: “Where do I start…when I started this challenge I was a weak 170lbs. I was eating around 1,200 calories a day, barely drinking any water, and barely going to the gym (1-2 times a week). Eventually I realized that if I want to play at the next level, I’m a Juco sophomore, that I need to make changes now! I picked up a baseball two times all summer because I worked 6 days a week doing concrete and landscaping, to have money for the following school year and lost 25lbs while doing so. I had no motivation for the gym and baseball. When I arrived to baseball in August I was throwing 74-76mph off the mound and 78-80 from the outfield. This challenge and the people apart of the challenge, not only gave me motivation to get in the gym 5-6 days a week, but also helped me be consistent in all areas of the challenge and set up a routine for myself. I cannot express enough how thankful I am for all that ATP team has done for me and if anybody wants to optimize their body to become the best athlete/baseball player they can be...GET IN CONTACT with Dr. Heenan and his staff ASAP. - Bryce September 2019 #90mphformula Metrics Bodyweight: 170lbs Deadlift: 315lbs x 1 Chin Up: 13 BW Reverse Lunge: 225lbs x 1 Mound Velo: T76mph December 2019 #90mphformula Metrics Bodyweight: 206lbs Deadlift: 515lbs x 1 Chin Ups: 13 BW Reverse Lunge: 365lbs x 1 Mound Velo: T87mph Our next Weight Gain and Body Composition Challenge Starts Nov 3rd where the winner gets $5000. Pitchers, repeat after me… I’m NOT sore from lactate buildup; I'm sore from muscular damage. My nutrition, sleep, and volume tolerance, both in throwing and the gym, are what dictate if I'm going to be sore the next day.

Restoring ROM Post-op @J_Oliger27 shown here from 12-14 weeks post-op with significant limitations in external rotation & flexion. Typically, we want full passive ROM somewhere between week 4-10. Jake’s limitations were primarily neurological, not tissue restrictions.

Undeniable Prospect At @ATP_Community we have lots of connections with college coaches, travel ball programs, and college recruiters. When people ask me if we help in the recruiting process, I typically reference that our job and goal is to make each athlete an undeniable prospect. To me, an undeniable prospect is an athlete with the on-field skills to compete today at the level they are trying to get recruited at and have the strength, size, and on-field metrics to be an absolute no-brainer for a college coach to want you on their roster. If you have the tools to be an undeniable recruit at the level you’re shooting for, showcase the hell out of it. If you have gaps in the tools needed to be undeniable at the next level, showcase sparingly or just enough to show progress over the years of your development— coaches love to see that as it’s typically evidence of the hard work you’ve put in. If you don’t know your #90mphformula metrics and on-field metrics that coaches utilize to evaluate talent, such as 60, exit velo, mound velo, etc… what the hell are you doing? Some people will take the previous comment as mean or rude, but I share it out of 15+ years in the business of trying to help athletes and families cut to the chase. In most cases, athletes don’t want to track their metrics because they are embarrassed by them. Embarrassment is a feeling of self-consciousness, shame, or awkwardness. The only way to rectify this feeling is by owning where you currently are and then building and executing a plan to improve those metrics. If you’re willing to feel a little uncomfortable or embarrassed today, it will save you the painful feelings you’ll likely get when you’re not an undeniable prospect and struggling to get offers to play ball at the next level. #athletefirst #undeniableprospect
