“Where do I start…when I started this challenge I was a weak 170lbs. I was eating around 1,200 calories a day, barely drinking any water, and barely going to the gym (1-2 times a week). Eventually I realized that if I want to play at the next level, I’m a Juco sophomore, that I need to make changes now! I picked up a baseball two times all summer because I worked 6 days a week doing concrete and landscaping, to have money for the following school year and lost 25lbs while doing so. I had no motivation for the gym and baseball. When I arrived to baseball in August I was throwing 74-76mph off the mound and 78-80 from the outfield. This challenge and the people apart of the challenge, not only gave me motivation to get in the gym 5-6 days a week, but also helped me be consistent in all areas of the challenge and set up a routine for myself.
