@Rivo9_ @IsThisA3DModel Consider using 'Dissolve Edges' and 'Loop Select' more. Alt -selectclick and X/del > Dissolve Edges respectively.
Dissolve Edges deletes edges while the lines between them stay connected. Or in other words, you can select and dissolve 'every other loop' there to fix the handle.

@IsThisA3DModel my 2nd model, took 20 minutes, and didn't take as much power as a city. Handles insane but 20 minutes of research would fix it I bet.

@MaximumADHD Best to spread Awareness of realities of OCD because many people haven't been diagnosed with it, yet are being tortured by it daily.
Here's another. Sexuality OCD, constantly doubting your sexuality. Trying to prove it to yourself. then doubting it more.
Latches onto anything.

@MaximumADHD OCD "neatness" is a fear of missing a spot, cleaning a bit longer, feeling okay for a little bit, then you remember a spot you missed, you clean more. Okay, you're fine. No. Can't remember if you cleaned this spot. Go back.

I'm starting to realize my coding style is probably a sign I have some kind of OCD.
I always organize my variables and statements in pyramid shapes either by the length of the line, or alphanumerically, or both. I also put padding around statements where a new stack opens.

@TheMG3D Having followed hundreds of artists since the early 2000s, I've only seen one (1) time a professional artist mock a beginner's skill level, and she received a massive backlash for it.
It's so cringe to invent situations to play the victim (especially since there is no point here)

Which is stupid, but you can see HOW he thought it.

There are many valid and substantially more extreme things that you could be upset at Max for, and this is not one of them.
If anything, this might be one of the worst reasons to hate on someone. There is fundamentally nothing wrong with liking the dandy's world cookie girl.

@GeorgeCrudo @andrewpprice ya unless hes got insider info I dont see how this post makes sense. Anthropic is arguably the top AI creator, and currently the most hated one at that because of the CEO. The distinction is pretty obvious compared to "a company engaged in AI"

Some people was antsy about 2 companies. Everyone knows and has known about Meta, Google, and Nvidia supporting Blender. We just don't care. Blender takes their money and ignores their requests. Good.

@gleb_alexandrov Bad decision by the blender foundation to drop a source of funding just to appease the twitter mob. They weren't going to be influenced by Anthropic either way, and twitter certainly isnt going to donate enough to cover the loss...

@00LemonBoy @Wasdmon Keep in mind I don't use references, at all. My anatomy drawing is all just from mentally training it to be read via just drawing without reference, comparing at end to reference, then redoing it until I learn something.

@00LemonBoy @Wasdmon Plenty of resources to explain how the body works, but Anatomy for Sculptors is great. If these demos help, consider picking up the full book. Mostly a picture book of breakdowns like this explaining how anatomy works.

@00LemonBoy @Wasdmon Don't make this look good, just sketch, scratchy is good because it lets your imagination take over. Now that you have base forms, you can start imagining secondary volumes, such as the arm. Attached images are from channel LinesSensei. Train your mind to see the volumes.

@Nojizurisu @bambi_vr This is just for the renderer part. Each physics bone, animator state, and avatar contact takes up CPU time that'd go to loading that bus. Outcome is a low FPS! Hope this makes it all far more clearer.

@Nojizurisu @bambi_vr And, finally, worlds are filled with drawcalls, and each material and mesh (the meshrenderers on your avatar stats) is a unique drawcall for avatars. Chunky world, will be slow with alot of draws on slow CPU. Chunky avatar, will be slow while shown on slow CPU.

Hot take; VRChat isn't as unoptimized as we all think it is anymore. We just need to stop using bad performing avatars and it would already be much better🙏
