So the "Places to visit in the USA" section of my bucket list will have to be put on hold for many years. The USA is not a country I will want to visit until after it has done a lot of healing from the second Trump dictatorship.

❤️ WISCONSIN: “I’d like to apologize. My eyes were opened. I’ve learned a very lot about this group of people.” Larry came to testify against the anti-trans youth health care bill, but had an epiphany and changed his mind. Context: pride.com/politics/anti-…

@TheTNHoller What do you mean "Larry came to testify against the anti-trans youth health care bill"? He came to testify FOR it, but changed his mind after listening to the people it actually would affect. He's a hero, and he shows there is still hope for good in this world.

@MForstater It's a paradox of inclusivity. We don't have to be inclusive of those who threaten inclusivity. We don't have to be welcoming to those who make others feel unwelcome. I would not hire anyone who bullies and belittles other team members for who they are.

@ATornblad @SarahisCensored I didn't do anything to him. He did it to himself. Your false accusations are baseless and weak. LMAO! He decided to cheat and now he is paying for it. Get your head out of the sand. If he has a penis then he needs to get out of the girls locker room & compete with boys.

The University Interscholastic League (UIL) is allowing a female student who attends Plano West High School in Texas to participate in the girls' competitive wrestling team while taking performance-enhancing drugs under the guise of "medical necessity." In 2023, the state of Texas passed SB 14, which prohibits the transitioning of minors via procedures and treatments. Christie Kaminski, a mother of one of the competing students, stated: "My daughter was forced to wrestle Kenneth on Saturday, February 10th. She lost by pin. Kenneth Checkon went on to win 3rd in the Girls 132 Lb division, bumping my daughter to 4th and knocking out other girls from advancing to state. These girls would have been disqualified if they had used performance-enhancing drugs. Girls who worked hard and developed their muscles and skill level without cheating. Girls that could use a state win for scholarships, awards, and opportunity." The student, who goes by the name "Kenneth" Checkon, will be competing this Friday at the Berry Center in Cypress, TX. Students who choose to use performance-enhancing drugs should not have the option of competing in competitions against students that would be punished for the very same behavior. Transitioning is a choice, it is not a medical necessity for their health, which is the excuse given by the UIL. The UIL policy forbids performance-enhancing drugs. The loophole they are attempting to use is that it is "medically necessary," which SB 14 rejects. The parents, the UIL, and the medical team for "Kenneth" need to be investigated immediately for ignoring the law in Texas.

@SarahisCensored That is getting really old. These cheaters are ruining it for other girls. Can't the league see that? Come on!

@jamesqquick Template literals always. I blame JavaScript teachers who teach in the order features were added to the language, and not in the order that makes sense.
