Last week the AIRLab visited the department of Automatic Control (RAT) at Paderborn university. We exchanged our knowledge in robotics disciplines involving simulation, event cameras, SLAM, control, and rigid body dynamics, among other topics. Here's a sneak peak to these days:

Huy Pham will be defending his PhD dissertation on Friday, 10 February 2023. During his studies, he investigated how deep-learning-based 3D perception methods perform when solving challenging tasks for #autonomous #robot navigation.
