“Subpipe” is an underwater dataset provided by @oplahoma and the Remaro project using an @OceanScanMST lightweight AUV equipped with a host of sensors to produce SLAM maps, detect objects, and create sonar images.

If you scaled it properly, it should fit! Either if you change your mind on fitting it to 1 or 2 columns, or if you use the same figure in another document, there will be no weird or inconsistent scaling of the font. This has saved me lots of time on adapting my figures :)

4. Instead of \includegraphics[width=\textwidth]{bla.png} Do: \includegraphics[scale=1]{bla.png}

For those of you that will have to write a PhD thesis, here's some advice for your Figures: 1. Use inkscape 2. Install Latin modern Roman (and use it) 3. Write the text in your figure with the actual text size that you want in it (I personally like 6 and 8 pt, always <10pt).
