Just had my first FSD 14 Lite experience and it was flawless. 100% FSD from my driveway to the gym and parked centered in a parking stall. Drove home beautifully but did not back in my driveway. I’m sure it will soon. 12.6.4 always prepared to back in but stopped. This is going to be fun.

This interview is a clear example of how trust in legacy media is broken. People want the opportunity to learn more about one another—not more division and polarization.
When given the chance to ask about giving the blind a chance to see, advancing humanity through space travel, or providing the disabled the ability to drive a car, the reporter chose clickbait questions meant to drive engagement rather than understand her subject.
Elon did an excellent job answering her questions and explaining his core values while making her look like a fool.

I was excited to hear that Tesla is already running an early version of FSD V15 in their Robotaxis.
Elon said a few months ago that V15 would release to the customer fleet around late 2026, to early 2027. The fact that it’s already performing paid rides for customers is a good sign.
V15 is a full architectural overhaul, roughly 10 billion parameters (vs 1B in V14) and a major leap in safety.

“I guess the only thing we can try to do is minimize the probability of a bad outcome. For the longest time, I declined to participate in AI. I created OpenAI essentially as a counterweight to Google because, at the time, they were more or less a monopoly on AI. Then Anthropic spun out of OpenAI. If anything, it seems like my actions have really accelerated AI. I wasn’t aiming to accelerate AI, but creating OpenAI, and then having Anthropic spin out of it, resulted in knock-on effects that accelerated AI, which wasn’t really my intention. Unfortunately FSD 14 Lite seems to have an issue with backing into things at low speed when trying to park including other cars at Superchargers, Supercharger stalls, trash cans, etc
Regrettably Tesla should probably slow the rollout while they address this. Drivers who have it should exercise extra caution in these scenarios.
