Hi. Many of my closest friends and of course my family, already know, but I want to share a bit of why you haven’t seen me much during the past couple of days. After a very difficult past few days, I had to see a doctor this morning and they sent me straight to the ER for an emergency procedure. So I will most likely not be popping up the new @UranderOfficial prototype tent again during the next few days while I recover. I consider myself very lucky to have made such an amazing number of friends in this adventure and many of you have been directly helping me and reaching out with help. From just expressing the desire to be with us during this difficult moment, hosting us at different places for shelter, bringing food or simply advising me with great life choices, I simply want to say thank you. I am not including any names in this post because there are so many of you. Simply, Thank you. There is however one name I can’t leave out. Nancy has been my rock all these years and today is no exception. Thank you for all the adventures, @teslatina. Today’s was just a different one, but we will conquer it as well. Oh, and definitely… Go @SpaceX! Go Starship! Thank you to all the friends I’ve made working hard at SpaceX this week. You know who you are and you deserve a successful mission for S39. Ad Astra 💫

After nearly 18 years I can stop working on Model S and X. We put so much love into these products, but will continue to pour that into the future products. Thanks to everyone who believed in and supported these cars through the years. We strived for the best and will never stop. Saying goodbye to something great and making room for something even greater!

Tesla Patents Perforated Glass Roof with Active HVAC and Acoustic Tuning. The patent replaces a standard single-pane glass roof with a multi-layered design. It keeps a solid outer glass layer for weather protection, but adds a perforated inner layer with thousands of tiny holes (0.05–2 mm diameter). @CyberMikeOG what’s most interesting to me is… i think it’ll work better in reverse? on a hot day — bcz heat rises inside the cabin — if you can pull the hot air into honeycomb system from the ceiling and cool / disperse that air via normal vents, it should cool the car faster

@PotatoSaladMix We will see if it comes to market. Maye won’t be used on all models. It’s a premium feature.
