Serious question. What’s the difference in coaches transferring every year for better opportunities and players transferring every year for better opportunities?

The transfer portal has screwed up college sports. My bill is simple: you get 5 consecutive years to play 5 seasons and you get 1 transfer. After that, if you transfer again, you sit out a year. This will fix 80% of the issues in NIL today.

The best teams in the country defend and rebound. I’ve been trying to get us to play bigger all season. Any time Keyshawn Hall plays power forward, we are prioritizing offense over defense and rebounding. If we continue the same approach, we will be on the bubble of the NCAAT.

This basketball team had a chance to be one of the biggest teams on the perimeter in the country and we never took advantage of it. Instead, we elected to play small ball for nearly half the season and wasted a prime opportunity for positional size on the perimeter.

But when you understand the players are more important than the system, it’s a hell of a lot easier to come up with the best strategies.
