@M4RYL4ND @TerpRecruiting Villanova NC State and Texas A&M seem to be doing just fine with arguably the same amount of time buzz had. I’m not saying it isn’t hard but money talks now and you can build a solid roster in a short period of time

New coach comes in, his current roster gets ravaged by transfer portal, and he’s supposed to have a tournament-quality team recruited, signed, and enrolled within weeks/months? Not realistic.

The best teams in the country defend and rebound. I’ve been trying to get us to play bigger all season. Any time Keyshawn Hall plays power forward, we are prioritizing offense over defense and rebounding. If we continue the same approach, we will be on the bubble of the NCAAT.

Breaking: Maryland is on a winning streak.
Andre Mills continues to bloom, scoring a career-high 24 on 9 for 15 shooting in a 77-70 win over Iowa. Terps withstood 32 points by Iowa star Bennett Stirtz and ended their six-game winning streak.
Seems like they've figured some things out lately.

@terporiole Completely agree. I would prioritize retaining Adams and Payne and go after a stud pg. we’ve been spoiled with the likes of melo Cowan Jamir etc…. So would love to get back to what we’ve been known for having.

@ZachPlummer1 Yeah I mean I’d like to see Adams and Payne stay (med red shirt). Buzz knows he has to land a stud pg. he needs to spend minimum 3M on a pg. He needs a guy that can bail them out in long possessions. Add a few other experienced portal guys plus the talented freshman and I like it

A lot of Maryland fans are mad under this post but JDM is right. Buzz has never succeeded in his first year of any of his jobs. After his first year, he has taken a giant leap every time. We cannot be so reactionary. This year sucks but we have to be patient.

@theblockspot John Harbaugh is not a current top 5 head coach. He isn’t elite with players (they wanted him gone). Most fans don’t like him. He got carried to a Super Bowl by Joe Flacco and a really good defense. This was due.
