My top 4 Resident Evil games

I've really enjoyed the Sonic movies and its great to see Jim Carrey back once again, along with Keanu Reeves etc plus Matt Berry amd Richard Ayoade

@Icewallowcumin In the original Resident Evil 2 they did offer more context and had new areas to explore, Mr X for example isn't even in the A scenario. For some reason the remake sort of mashed all of the elements into the A scenario and the B scenario exists in name only

Made some good progress. One final run left for Claire B while also not using the item box. Then doing 4th Survivor to finish I don't get the point of these B runs, I thought they were going to offer much more context, but it's the same shit #PS5Share, #ResidentEvil2Remake

@Arron_TK It has absolutely no bearing on my purchases. I'm 43 and well aware of what I like in a game and for brand new IP I'll watch a bit of gameplay which usually tells me if I want to play it or not

@SpawnYaardReply I suspect many of those refunding because of reviews only preordered because of other people's hype and they can't form their own opinions. Me, I just watch a bit of gameplay and decide if it's something I'm likely to enjoy and I'm still on the fence about this one

People refunding Crimson Desert at 78 review score has to be the new low in gaming. Wow! Either you were never interested in the game or you just wanted to be part of the hype & conversation. Anyway, those who have taken a leap of faith in this game like me, I wish you happy adventures 🍻

@GenePark I love the RE9 combat, I went back to RE4 afterwards and whilst still fun, it's way too easy with the one shot and melee combo. RE9 makes me actively engage with the zombies, using their own weapons against them, context sensitive finishers and even tactical reloading of guns

@kiwitalkz Even playing this with a 5800X3D, in certain areas in Jemison it could be difficult to maintain 60fps, so I can't say I'm surprised they're having trouble getting Switch 2 to run it

So Nate The Hate has said that the development of Starfield for Switch 2 hasn't been a smooth process (no surprise) my guess is the CPU is a huge bottleneck. If Switch 2 doesn't get Starfield and it gets internally cancelled, I can't see how GTA 6 comes to Switch 2 as it will be even more CPU intensive than Starfield. I've had a source say otherwise but I don't believe him at all lol.

Wrenwood Hotel - Resident Evil Requiem

@nib95_ It was clearly huge here in the UK on PS5 as it even dragged the other Resident Evil games up the charts and I saw some in Europe that couldn't even get hold of a physical edition

#PS5 was the lead platform for sales of Resident Evil Requiem by a "meaningful margin" in the US (Circana) and Europe (GSD). Lines up with past RE and my estimate based on available data. Means Alinea Analytics was likely well off again.

Someone said that our Sega Dreamcast ports were a pointless waste of time today and that nobody will play them… Meet my son, who was the first kid to ever play Mario 64, Doom 64, Mario Kart 64, Starfox 64, Sonic Mania, Grand Theft Auto 3 and Vice City, and now The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time—some of my all-time favorite games from childhood—on my favorite console, the Sega Dreamcast, for his first play-throughs… and his little sister plays with us as well. Despite the fact that we actually do have a thriving homebrew scene of people playing and supporting us, I could not give less of a shit if anyone else plays them or appreciates the work… This is all the validation I need.
