@AVIZZEE @PiotrNguyen @ChessMenorca @EmilSutovsky I don't think it should count for a norm as that only affects one player. It will incentivise opponents to forfeit against their friends. If it affects rating, I can't imagine any player doing this.

It is very sad to see people missing their norm opportunities because of forfeits, and it is unfortunately common in big open events. I can count 16 forfeits in the last round of @ChessMenorca. Is there something that can be done for these situations @EmilSutovsky?

@PiotrNguyen @arjunkalyan555 @ChessMenorca @EmilSutovsky The potential to abuse such a rule will be important to consider for the other side. Very difficult to prove collusion, but I agree that something should be done (eg: 1 round counts for norm and rating, per 3 games actually played or something like that).

@arjunkalyan555 @ChessMenorca @EmilSutovsky I think first of all such walkovers should be calculated for FIDE rating and norms as normal games. Secondly, if the case is not sufficiently explained it should be noted by FIDE and if it repeats it would be fair to give more serious penalty.

30...Kf8 is a big mistake. It is fairly easy to see the first move, but getting to the end the fastest is not so obvious. #chesspunks

Happy to have been inspired in low time and found the right way to punish this blunder. I saw the idea a bit earlier but no way to make it work and my opponent obliged. #chesspunks

@kenlikescarbs I remember when tempest came out I couldn’t figure out what to do with this. Useless without a build-around. I don’t have a copy just throwing in a suggestion

What commanders do you currently run that don't directly provide card advantage or mana advantage? Card advantage defined as anything that nets you 2+ cards like draw, impulse draw, recursion, cascade Mana advantage defined as generating mana, mana discounts, "cast for free"
