@AVORD1 with the support of @UNHCRSom and close collaboration with key stakeholders including @SWSCRI and @BaidoaMunicipal successfully handed over 110 transition shelters alongside 28 shared latrines that were constructed by @AVORD1 in Lawiley IDP site, Baidoa-CH01.

With great support from @UNHCRSOM, Yesterday, @AVORD1 distributed 260 NFIs to 260HHs affected by forced eviction in Kahda district.

In #Lawiiley, the community is constructing shelters funded by @AVORD1 after the IDPs purchased land and relocated there. #TenureSecurity for #DACs means more opportunity for other actors to invest in infrastructures such as housing, schools and latrines

With funding from @UNHCRSomalia,@AVORD1 constructed 78 RHUs for #Refugees, Returnees, and the most Vulnerable persons in the host community in #kismayo. The project aimed to improve the living conditions of the people, & to curb protection risks associated with overcrowding.

While the humanitarian needs in #Somalia have surpassed the funding, SHF encourages the donor countries to increase the support to address critical life-saving interventions so that millions of people are saved from multiple shocks in the country. 📸@AVORD1
